Indofood Agri Resources (SGX:5JS) said its plantation or mill operations have not been disrupted by recent forest and land fires in Indonesia and resulting transboundary haze and are not expected to have a material impact on the group's financial position.
In response to follow-up queries from SGX RegCo, the company said its Indonesian subsidiary, Salim Ivomas Pratama, and its subsidiaries continued to implement a zero-burning policy, supported by satellite hotspot monitoring, firefighting teams and regular audits, according to a Friday filing to the Singapore bourse.
The company disclosed that it received a notice from Singapore's National Environment Agency on Oct. 23 under the Transboundary Haze Pollution Act 2014, requesting documents and information.
None of the 10 companies issued preventive measure notices by NEA had any operational or supply-chain relationship with the group, Indofood Agri said.
