Singapore will end most haze mitigation measures from Saturday as improved weather conditions and increased rainfall have reduced the risk of transboundary haze, according to a Thursday notification by the National Environment Agency.
The National Environment Agency will issue its final haze situation update for the season, while the inter-agency Haze Task Force will also be stood down. Distribution of N95 masks and designated air-conditioned haze shelters will end on Saturday evening.
The Ministry of Manpower will also lift additional haze-related precautions for outdoor workers from Saturday, allowing employers to resume normal outdoor operations. The Ministry of Health will deactivate the Public Health Preparedness Clinic and Haze Subsidy schemes from Nov. 12.
