ComfortDelGro's (SGX:C52) subsidiary, CDG Zig, will be licensed to operate under the Singapore-Malaysia Cross-Border Taxi Scheme from Nov. 16, according to a Friday joint statement from the transport ministries of both countries.
CDG will join Malaysia's Kumpool as a new licensed ride-hail operator, alongside GrabCar.
The two countries will also raise the quota of licensed cross-border taxis to 500 per country.
