H2G Green (SGX:5AI) unit GasHubUnited Utility signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Abu Dhabi's Department of Energy and two other parties to assess the feasibility of developing small-scale liquefied natural gas solutions in the emirate.
The one-year MOU also involves Muzn Energy, a company of SERGAS Group, and Cloud Energy Gas, according to a Friday filing.
The collaboration will explore LNG production, transportation and distribution to industrial and commercial facilities, including those outside existing gas distribution networks.
A potential investment of up to 1 billion dirhams was cited in an Abu Dhabi government press release, but H2G Green clarified that neither it nor GasHub has committed to any investment under the MOU, the filing said.
