Many of the stocks in the index don't perform all that well over time. But as the more-successful stocks outperform, they earn an increased weighting in the S&P 500 because of their larger market caps.Which stocks in the S&P 500 will work the most for investors throughout this decade? It's impossible to know for sure. However, I'll make a prediction: The following three S&P 500 stocks will at least double in seven years.1. AmazonThe larger a company grows, the harder it can be to deliver the same rate of expansion. But that doesn't mean really big companies can't grow significantly. I think Amazon has proved this point in the past and will continue to do so.When asked about Amazon, the first thoughts of many individuals would probably be about the company's online shopping platform or its Prime Video streaming service. My view is that both could be solid growth drivers over the coming years. But they won't be the most important factors in enabling the stock to double.Instead, that honor belongs to Amazon Web Services (AWS). As much as 95% of worldwide IT spending goes toward on-premises hosting rather than in the cloud. CEO Andy Jassy expects \"the equation is going to shift and flip\" over the next 10 to 15 years with a lot more spending on cloud hosting versus on-premises hosting. If he's right (and I think he is), Amazon is a no-brainer stock to buy right now.AWS already ranks as the biggest cloud-hosting provider. It's also Amazon's most profitable segment. The company's profits should explode by the end of the decade with the transition to the cloud. My confidence level is pretty high that Amazon's share price will at least double within seven years or less.2. Digital Realty TrustDigital Realty Trust isn't the household name that Amazon is. However, the company should benefit from the same trend that Amazon will.Digital Realty Trust owns more than 300 data centers. The transition to the cloud should be a key growth driver for the company.A quick glance at Digital Realty Trust's top customers reveals a Who's Who in the technology world. A long list of major cloud providers, software specialists, social media companies, and telecommunications giants use Digital Realty Trust's data centers. If you only look at Digital Realty's stock performance over the last 10 years, you might doubt that it could double by 2030. But it's important to consider total returns rather than share-price appreciation alone.Digital Realty Trust is a real estate investment trust (REIT) and must return at least 90% of its income to shareholders to avoid paying federal taxes. Its dividend yield tops 4.8%. With that high yield, the stock won't have to deliver huge gains for Digital Realty Trust to generate total returns of 100% or more over the next seven years.3. Vertex PharmaceuticalsI think that Vertex Pharmaceuticals is another S&P 500 stock with a clear path to doubling or more by 2030. The company already enjoys a monopoly in treating the underlying cause of cystic fibrosis (CF).Vertex could increase its market by roughly 50% by securing additional approvals and reimbursement deals for its existing CF drugs and by achieving success with its experimental messenger RNA CF therapy VX-522.But Vertex has even greater growth opportunities beyond CF. It hopes to win regulatory approvals for exa-cel, a gene-editing therapy developed with CRISPR Therapeutics, as soon as later this year. Exa-cel could generate peak annual sales of at least $2 billion in treating sickle cell disease and transfusion-dependent beta-thalassemia.Non-opioid pain drug VX-548 could also make it to market within the next couple of years. Vertex believes that this therapy has multibillion-dollar potential. The big biotech is also making good progress in its clinical testing of inaxaplin in treating APOL1-mediated kidney disease (AMKD). There are more patients with AMKD than there are CF patients.Vertex could have other major catalysts over the next few years as well, notably from progress with its clinical programs that could hold a cure for type 1 diabetes.Biotech stocks face the risk that their pipeline programs could flop in clinical studies or fail to win regulatory approvals. But my view is that Vertex has enough arrows in its quiver that it will be able to double investors' money within the next seven years.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"DLR":0.9,"AMZN":0.9,"VRTX":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3295,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9940285629,"gmtCreate":1677969348062,"gmtModify":1677969352374,"author":{"id":"3572830110372716","authorId":"3572830110372716","name":"KCtan1688","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/eb264e77c49fffb1d26a89a47dbc0250","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572830110372716","authorIdStr":"3572830110372716"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like","listText":"Like","text":"Like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":19,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9940285629","repostId":"2316492950","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2316492950","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1677987004,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2316492950?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2023-03-05 11:30","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Want $1 Million in Retirement? With the appropriate strategy, allocation, and investing time horizon, this isn't an impossible goal by any means. As you diversify your basket of stocks to work toward this achievement, it's important to select quality businesses across a wide variety of sectors with multiple catalysts to sustain continued returns over a period of years. For example, if you were to invest $200,000 in the stock market right now, promising companies with innovative, industry-leading businesses ripe for future growth could foreseeably compound that investment by 5 times or more in the next decade. With that said, here are two such stocks that could help you build out your retirement plan.1. UpstartUpstart is dealing with extremely choppy market waters right now; however, looking beyond these events to the company's long-term prospects, an altogether brighter picture forms. To understand why, one has to take a deeper look into the inner workings of Upstart and its business, which is driven by artificial intelligence and machine learning. The company operates a lending marketplace that revolves around its innovative technology platform, which leverages more than 1,600 data points to assess the creditworthiness of any given consumer. In other words, it doesn't just the FICO score but atypical factors like education and income to help determine this.By using a far broader range of factors to determine whether an applicant ought to be approved for a loan, as well as the platform's predictive capabilities that calibrate to the economic environment to assess the likelihood of that applicant to default, Upstart has not only been able to democratize the long-stale lending arena but also lower risk for institutional partners with more inclusive and real-time data. Moreover, because Upstart's platform is constantly learning, this not only enables it to adjust to the most current economic conditions, but this also means that more of the company's loan applications are being handled on a fully automated basis. In Upstart's full-year 2022 earnings report, management said that 82% of all loan applications on the platform were fully automated -- the highest level of automation its model has reached in the history of the company. Moreover, 88% of all small-dollar loans are now automated. On top of that, as of the end of 2022, Upstart's model had learned more in the prior seven months than it had in the entire 30 months before that.During 2022, Upstart's number of bank and credit union partners soared 120% from 2021, and its network of auto dealers jumped more than 90% year over year. Bear in mind, the auto lending market alone represents a near $800 billion opportunity, and as of the end of 2022, the company had the second-fastest-growing auto retail software in the country. As Upstart's platform is constantly learning, a challenging economic environment is inevitably going to mean that it approves fewer loans than it would in a situation where the risk of default is lower, but this would also indicate the exact opposite would happen in a more buoyant economic landscape. At the same time, the combination of institutional partners funding far fewer loans right now and a drop in consumers applying for loans has contributed to the declines in Upstart's top and bottom lines recently. While investors will need to continue watching these factors closely in the quarters ahead, it's important to differentiate broader economic headwinds from headwinds tied directly to Upstart's business. The fact that the company is expanding market share, boosting platform automation, and rapidly growing its partner network even in a decidedly bleak lending environment is notable, and could prime the business for a relatively rapid upward trajectory once the economic environment improves and interest rates come down. Even a conservative position in this top growth stock could yield tremendous results over the next five to 10 years when paired with a wide selection of investments in a buy-and-hold investment portfolio. That potential may be too intriguing for some investors to overlook while the stock's currently trading down.2. TeladocTeladoc investors -- and I am one of them -- have faced more than their fair share of volatile market days over the past year. While shares of this healthcare stock are still down 64% from 12 months ago, they've risen roughly 15% since the start of 2023. The market has been far less kind toward unprofitable, growth-oriented businesses in the current economic environment, and Teladoc currently fits squarely into both categories. The full 2022 year saw Teladoc achieve some notable goals, while falling short on other fronts. Revenue totaled $2.4 billion for the 12-month period, an 18% increase from 2021. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) was down year over year, but still hit $247 million. Teladoc also continues to see rapid adoption across a wide range of its healthcare services, with its teletherapy arm BetterHelp alone posting revenue growth of 29% year over year in the final quarter of 2022.Teladoc reported a third impairment charge in Q4 of 2022 after having significantly shaved its net losses in the prior quarter. Specifically, it ended the 12-month period with a net loss of $13.7 billion, almost entirely due to impairment charges related to writing down the value of its 2020 Livongo acquisition. Here's the thing, though: While this loss is unpleasant to look at as an investor, these were non-cash impairment charges. In other words, paper-only net losses, which are not the same as actual operational losses.Even though Teladoc overpaid for that acquisition, its contribution to its overall mission of disrupting the still underserved chronic care solutions market remains a notable green flag for the long-term future of the integration of these two businesses. CEO Jason Gorevic noted the following about its chronic care segment and broader platform expansion on the company's 2022 earnings call:Access to our platform is available to over 80 million individuals in the U.S. today, primarily through our relationships with employers and health plans. Over 50% of that population has access to more than one of our products. And when I look at our suite of chronic care solutions, 30% of enrollees are now utilizing more than one chronic care product. Our BetterHelp offering provided over 1 million individuals with access to mental healthcare over the past year, many of whom are unlikely to have received any care at all, if not for our services. Our platform enabled over 22 million visits across specialties last year and over 0.5 billion digital health interactions with an unmatched consumer experience and a net promoter score over 60. That breadth and scale is unrivaled in the industry and gives us a strong foundation on which to expand.Teladoc remains the premier telehealth platform in the U.S., and the increasing diversity and adoption of its offerings bode well for its ability to continue expanding its market share in the years ahead. Management has been clear that moving back to profitability is a key goal for the future. The investments Teladoc is making now could yield robust returns for the company and its shareholders in the years ahead. As such, given Teladoc's long trajectory for growth, forward-thinking investors may find any dips in the stock to be too good to pass up.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"UPST":0.9,"TDOC":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3507,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9940667606,"gmtCreate":1677885325705,"gmtModify":1677885329107,"author":{"id":"3572830110372716","authorId":"3572830110372716","name":"KCtan1688","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/eb264e77c49fffb1d26a89a47dbc0250","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572830110372716","authorIdStr":"3572830110372716"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like ","listText":"Like ","text":"Like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":12,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9940667606","repostId":"2316902455","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2316902455","kind":"highlight","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1677877270,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2316902455?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2023-03-04 05:01","market":"us","language":"en","title":"US STOCKS-Wall Street Closes Sharply Higher, Notches Weekly Gains As Treasury Yields Ease","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2316902455","media":"Reuters","summary":"Wall Street rallied on Friday to end a volatile week, as U.S. Treasury yields eased and economic dat","content":"<html><head></head><body><p>Wall Street rallied on Friday to end a volatile week, as U.S. Treasury yields eased and economic data helped investors look past the growing likelihood that the Federal Reserve will keep its restrictive policy in place for longer than anticipated.</p><p>All three major U.S. stock indexes gained, led by the tech-laden Nasdaq, which climbed close to 2% and got a boost from interest rate sensitive megacaps. However, this is the prime time to look for the best tech stock to buy on the pullbacks. While losses have been considerable this year, it’s not permanent. In fact, I still believe most of these companies will start reporting much better year-on-year figures once the post-covid turbulence is behind us. Therefore, buying the best tech stocks now will give investors an excellent entry point for long-term gains. Here are the top seven picks to look into:MSFTMicrosoft$249.16INTCIntel$24.84AMZNAmazon$93.98OKTAOkta$71.15YEXTYext$7.36RIOTRiot Platforms$6.22NETCloudflare$59.64Microsoft Source: Asif Islam / Shutterstock.comMicrosoft’s rollout of ChatGPT integration with Bing and high growth in its cloud segment makes it among the hottest stocks this year. Of course, Bing could still be a “nothing burger” as not many people are interested in permanently switching to Bing except for niche purposes. But the Street is certainly excited. The company reported its fiscal Q2 2023 earnings, where its overall revenue grew 2%, but Azure and other cloud services revenue grew 31%, with Office 365 Commercial sales growing 11%. Conversely, Windows OEM and devices sales each decreased by 39%, which substantially negatively impacted top-line growth. The point is that Microsoft is slowly shaping its business away from slow-growth segments and into up-and-coming ones like Azure and Office 365. This will hurt the company’s top-line growth in the short term, but I see healthy growth metrics in the long run.Furthermore, the cloud isn’t the only thing in which Microsoft has an edge. The company’s aggressively investing in artificial intelligence, such as its $10 billion OpenAI investment. As AI becomes more important, these investments will pay off greatly.Intel Source: shutterstock.com/everything possibleTough competition with Advanced Micro Devices and sluggish year-over-year growth have caused Intel’s stock to plummet to decade-low valuations. However, it should be noted that the company is transforming and adapting its business for long-term success.Intel is particularly focusing on chips for AI, announcing a $20 billion investment into domestic chip production in the U.S., unlike other semiconductor companies that are sourcing their chips from foreign sources such as Taiwan Semiconductor. The CHIPS act subsidy will come in handy for the company in this regard, as Intel already reported 30% YoY growth in its foundry segment. Its Mobileye ownership is also paying dividends, with sales up 59% YoY.Another important highlight mentioned in a recent company press release,“Intel continues to progress with its goal of achieving five nodes in four years and is on track to regain transistor performance and power performance leadership by 2025. Intel 7 is now in high-volume manufacturing for both client and server. Intel 4 is manufacturing-ready, with the Meteor Lake ramp expected in the second half of 2023.”Simply put, Intel is expanding its own chip production for a more addressable market. It is also moving away from foreign sources with its own chip branding instead of using nanometers to describe its semiconductors and seeks to catch up with TSMC and AMD by 2025. If things go smoothly, Intel can become a significant chip provider for various industries in the U.S.Amazon Source: Tada Images / Shutterstock.comAmazon leads the burgeoning cloud industry with Amazon Web Services. Although other companies are certainly upping their competition here, AWS remains the dominant platform with 34% of the market share. AWS has its hands in almost every industry; even Ethereum (ETH-USD) has a substantial amount of nodes that use AWS to run, while 7,500 government agencies rely on the platform. This reliance is likely to continue, even if other alternatives become more cost-effective. Accordingly, AWS segment sales increased 29% year-over-year to $80.1 billion for all of 2022.Nevertheless, Amazon is a highly diversified company with many other promising segments to bank on. Most importantly, it is the biggest U.S. e-commerce business. It had some hiccups after the post-covid boom ended, but e-commerce is among the most promising industries in the long run. If Amazon retains its 38% market share in the industry, it could lead to sales as high as $600 billion annually from the U.S. alone by 2027.Okta Source: Sundry Photography / Shutterstock.comOkta has been one of the standout performers in the technology sector post-covid, with its stock price skyrocketing by more than 130% in 2020. However, widening losses and falling growth caused worries among investors, and OKTA stock is down 75%-plus from its peak in 2021.Regardless, the company’s top line remains stable, and I believe Okta can make a comeback as its losses are narrowing. With more and more businesses moving their operations online, Okta’s solutions are becoming increasingly essential, which has helped the company to attract a growing number of high-profile customers. Its high 37% sales growth should accelerate over the long run and bring a higher growth premium.Indeed, the losses are unconvincing, but Okta is well-positioned to continue its impressive growth trajectory. The company is expected to benefit from the ongoing shift towards cloud-based applications and the increasing need for robust cybersecurity solutions, which should drive demand for its IAM platform. Most of the company’s cons are also already priced in, and I see little downside left.Yext Source: rblfmr / Shutterstock.comYext is a leading provider of digital knowledge management software that helps businesses manage their online presence across multiple platforms. The stock was on a roller coaster ride over the pandemic era but began to bottom out last year and is now steadily recovering. However, I still think that its 50% recovery trough to the current year-to-date peak is not enough of a recovery, and there’s more to go.The COVID-19 pandemic initially harmed Yext’s business, as many of its customers had to shut down their physical locations. However, the company has adapted well to the changing market conditions, focusing on expanding its digital knowledge management platform to meet the needs of businesses that have shifted their operations online. Now, online businesses are a growth catalyst for Yext.Stock analyst Gurufocus.com does believe it could be a value trap due to its high losses. However, its most recent 10-Q filing shows that the company only spent $60.6 million on general and administrative expenses last year, with $221.5 million of gross profit. Most of its losses stem from high marketing and development spending, which can be easily cut down if needed. Therefore, I believe the company’s management sees its losses (that are narrowing) as sustainable.Overall, it’s a high-risk, high-reward bet that might not suit all investors as the best tech stock to buy.Riot Platforms Source: ShutterstockRiot Platforms is a cryptocurrency mining company that has been on a wild ride over the past year. Due to a significant drop in Bitcoin (BTC-USD) prices earlier this year, the company’s stock price has lost more than 91.5% of its value from its peak. However, this high-risk stock can deliver a long-term comeback, driven by strong demand for its mining services and the increasing adoption of cryptocurrencies by mainstream investors.Riot’s impressive financial performance has been driven by its aggressive expansion into the cryptocurrency mining market. The company has zero debt, and buying it at this current range will likely generate oversized returns when Bitcoin increases in value. The most important catalyst for RIOT is Bitcoin’s halving in 2024.It’ll cut mining rewards by half and likely increase its value substantially. The company could make a sharp recovery with RIOT’s 65.4% gross margin and its stash of around 7000 BTC. Naturally, a lot of speculation is involved here, and I wouldn’t recommend buying it if you only wish to invest in well-established names.Cloudflare Source: IgorGolovniov / Shutterstock.comCloudflare’s success can be attributed to its innovative approach to cybersecurity. The company offers a range of solutions that leverage the power of the cloud to protect against cyber attacks. The cybersecurity industry is rapidly growing despite short-term headwinds, and Cloudflare has a market share above 95% in network security. This gives the company enormous leverage over many online websites and businesses. Moreover, as web development becomes more streamlined, Cloudflare’s dominance is only increasing due to cost-effectiveness. The company is consistently growing its top line near a 50% clip, and losses are steadily narrowing.Gurufocus.com considers the stock “Significantly Undervalued,” with its future 3-5 year total revenue growth rate ranked better than 96.97% of its peers. Since the beginning of 2022, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500, and Nasdaq Composite have all fallen into respective bear markets. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Despite not being able to precisely predict when bear markets will occur, how long they'll last, or where the bottom will be, investors do know that every bear market decline throughout history has eventually been completely recouped (and then some) by a bull market. For long-term investors, it means they have a green light to put their money to work whenever the stock market plunges.Perhaps best of all, you won't need a mountain of money to build wealth on Wall Street. Since most online brokerages have done away with commissions and minimum deposit requirements, any amount of money -- even $50 -- can be the perfect amount to invest. If you have $50 ready to put to work right now, which won't be needed at any point over the next couple of years to pay bills or cover emergencies, the following three stocks stand out as no-brainer buys.NioThe first surefire stock patient investors can buy with just $50 right now is China-based electric-vehicle (EV) manufacturer Nio.Nio is certainly a stock that investors are going to want to buy with the expectation of holding five or more years. Nio has the potential to be one of the key players that transforms China's EV industry, but it's not going to be without its speed bumps. For the past three years, China's COVID-19 mitigation strategy led to unpredictable lockdowns, parts supply shortages, and consumer demand ebbs and flows. This strategy slowed China's economic growth and delayed Nio's ability to ramp up its production. These supply chain issues won't be resolved overnight. However, China abandoned its zero-COVID strategy three months ago, which is going to steadily reopen and normalize China's economy. Over time, this should allow Nio to rapidly increase its output to closer to 50,000 EVs per month. For some context, the company delivered more than 10,000 EVs in each of the seven months leading up to January (January production tapers due to factory closures tied to Chinese New Year).Nio's innovation is what's truly impressive. It's been introducing at least one new EV annually for years, and its sedans appear to be a big hit with China's middle- and upper-income consumers. The ET7 and ET5, which rolled into showrooms last year, offer battery upgrades that can expand their driving range to an estimated 621 miles (1,000 kilometers). That's nearly double the standard range of Tesla's flagship Model 3 sedan.Nio's out-of-the-box innovation is just as eye-opening. The company's battery-as-a-service subscription allows buyers to charge, swap, and upgrade their batteries at more than 1,300 Power Swap stations and over 1,200 Power Charger stations, as well as receive a discount on the purchase price of their EV. In exchange for giving up a little low-margin revenue now, Nio locks customers into a high-margin, recurring revenue subscription that'll keep them loyal to the brand.PinterestA second stock that stands out as a no-brainer buy with $50 right now is social media company Pinterest.Like Nio, Pinterest is contending with some short-term headwinds. The biggest of these issues is weaker ad spending, which is a reflection of businesses expecting the U.S. economy to either fall into a recession or weaken considerably as interest rates rise. Since Pinterest is an ad-reliant business, it's not a surprise to see its revenue growth slowing a bit over the past couple of quarters.Despite this short-term slowdown, many of Pinterest's key performance indicators are still promising. After a pandemic-related pop and subsequent drop in monthly active users (MAUs), Pinterest's MAUs are, once again, climbing. Panning out five years shows a relatively steady increase in active users.More importantly, advertisers are clearly willing to pay a premium to get their message(s) in front of Pinterest's 450 million potential shoppers. Even though the company's MAU count grew by a modest 4% in 2022 from the prior-year period, average revenue per user (ARPU) jumped 10% globally last year, with even higher ARPU growth registered outside the U.S. (sans Europe). Pinterest has never had an issue monetizing its user base.Something else critically important about Pinterest's operating model is that it doesn't require data-tracking tools to be successful. The entire premise of Pinterest's platform is to have its users willingly share the things, places, and services that interest them on their boards. While declining data-tracking tools might hurt other social media sites, Pinterest can help merchants target customers with ease.To build on this point, it also sets the company up to become a leading e-commerce player at some point this decade. It's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Pinterest's innovation. That's what makes this cash-rich and consistently profitable social media stock a screaming buy.Bank of AmericaThe third stock that makes for a no-brainer buy right now with $50 is financial juggernaut Bank of America.Investors usually don't buy into bank stocks when the U.S. economy looks to be on the verge of a recession. Banks are cyclical, and therefore prone to higher loan losses during recessions. Additionally, the Federal Reserve often lowers interest rates to spur lending activity during a recession, which means lower net-interest-income-earning potential for banks. But this time is different. The U.S. inflation rate hit a more than 40-year high in June 2022, and the nation's central bank is solely focused on taming the rate of price increases for goods and services. It's accomplishing this by raising interest rates at the fastest pace in four decades. Even if the U.S. economy falls into a recession, the benefit of more net interest income from Bank of America's variable-rate outstanding loans should more than offset loan losses. In other words, bank stocks can grow their earnings during a recession. However, Bank of America isn't just any old bank stock. It's the most interest-sensitive of all the domestic money-center banks. During the fourth quarter, BofA's net interest income grew $3.3 billion from the prior-year period to $14.8 billion. Take note that the Federal Reserve isn't done increasing interest rates yet, either.Although Bank of America is typically viewed as something of a dinosaur among U.S. banks, it's stealthily done a good job of investing in digitization initiatives and encouraging its customers to bank online or via mobile app. BofA ended 2022 with 44 million active digital users and saw almost half of all sales completed online or via mobile app. As more of its customer base shifts to digital transactions, BofA will have the opportunity to lower its operating expenses by consolidating some of its physical branches.Lastly, don't overlook Bank of America's capital-return program. During bull markets, it's not uncommon for BofA to return in excess of $20 billion annually to investors via share buybacks and its dividend. At a multiple of 9 times Wall Street's forward-year consensus earnings, Bank of America is a deal.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"BAC":1,"NIO":0.9,"PINS":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3372,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9957700621,"gmtCreate":1677535511463,"gmtModify":1677535514869,"author":{"id":"3572830110372716","authorId":"3572830110372716","name":"KCtan1688","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/eb264e77c49fffb1d26a89a47dbc0250","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572830110372716","authorIdStr":"3572830110372716"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like","listText":"Like","text":"Like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":12,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9957700621","repostId":"2314342496","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2314342496","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1677511696,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2314342496?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2023-02-27 23:28","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Prediction: These 3 Stocks Will Be Worth Over $1 Trillion by 2030","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2314342496","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"They could join the ranks of Apple, Microsoft, and Alphabet.","content":"<div>\n<p>You can count on one hand the number of stocks with market caps of more than $1 trillion that trade on U.S. exchanges. And you'd have a finger or two left over.Apple, Microsoft, and Alphabet are all clearly above the threshold, and Amazon isn't too far away from the $1 trillion mark. But there are other stocks that could join the exclusive club in the not-too-distant future. I predict the following three stocks will also be worth over $1 trillion by 2030.1. Berkshire HathawayIn my view, Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) (BRK.B) is the obvious top choice to be the next stock with a $1 trillion market cap. Berkshire currently ranks behind Amazon as the stock that's closest to the magic number, with its market cap of around $674 billion. How can Berkshire Hathaway add another 50% to its current valuation over the next seven years? One possibility is to put its enormous cash stockpile to work. The company continues to buy back its shares quite a bit, which boosts the value of the remaining shares. Warren Buffett and his team have also invested in other publicly traded companies, including adding to Berkshire's stake in four companies in the fourth quarter of 2022.Berkshire also benefits from overall economic growth. Revenue and profits for the company's insurance, railroad, and energy businesses should increase nicely if the economy performs well in the coming years. Berkshire's equity holdings, notably including Apple, could help propel its own stock higher, too.Perhaps the biggest potential obstacle to Berkshire's market cap reaching $1 trillion is Buffett's health. Many investors are drawn to the stock in large part because of the legendary investor's mystique. Buffett will be 93 in August. Should his health fail, Berkshire stock could fall. For now, though, he appears to be in good health and remains actively involved with the company.2. NvidiaNvidia (NVDA) stands out as another stock that could realistically hit the $1 trillion market by 2030. The company admittedly has a long way to go to reach the level, with its market cap currently around $573 billion. However, I think Nvidia has what it takes.Artificial intelligence (AI) stocks are sizzling-hot right now -- Nvidia is no exception. While the sizzle could fizzle temporarily, the long-term prospects for Nvidia's graphics processing units (GPUs) in powering AI applications look very bright. As a case in point, the company recently announced the launch of an AI-as-a-service product that will be available through all the major cloud-hosting providers. This new offering will enable any enterprise to use AI.While AI is Nvidia's biggest opportunity, it's not the only one. The company made its name in the gaming market. Although gaming faces headwinds right now, they should only be temporary. Other significant growth drivers for Nvidia include its Omniverse virtual collaboration and simulation platform and its self-driving car technology. It's possible that Nvidia's valuation could get in the way of its march to $1 trillion. The stock already has a lot of growth baked into the price, with shares trading at more than 48 times expected earnings. Nvidia could also encounter increased competition over the next few years. Still, I'll be more surprised if the stock doesn't have a $1 trillion market cap by 2030 than if it does.3. VisaVisa (V) might seem like something of a longshot to reach a market cap of $1 trillion. The financial services giant isn't even halfway there right now, with its market cap below $454 billion. But don't dismiss Visa's chances.Stock prices and market caps tend to follow earnings. All Visa has to do to join the $1 trillion club is what it's been doing. The company's earnings have increased by more than 120% over the past seven years. If Visa keeps up this trend, it should easily attain a market cap of at least $1 trillion by 2030.I don't think Visa will have major problems with earnings growth. The company operates one of the world's two largest payment rails. The shift away from cash to digital payments appears to be an unstoppable trend. Some have speculated that blockchain could disrupt Visa's business model.
