Over the last decade, the S&P 500 has generated a total return of 286%, meaning you could have tripled your money by simply investing in an exchange traded fund that tracks the popular index. That said, greater rewards await savvy investors who are willing to research and build a diversified portfolio of individual stocks. For those interested in long-term growth, tech standouts HubSpot ( HUBS 3.21% ) and Okta ( OKTA -1.76% ) look like smart investments. Both have the potential to quadruple in value over the next 10 years, growing at a pace that would turn an initial investment of $250,000 split evenly between these stocks into a collective $1 million. What makes these companies ready for such monster growth? Let's take a look.HubSpot: Customer relationship managementHubSpot provides customer relationship management (CRM) software, offering tools that drive productivity across marketing, sales, customer service, and operations. The HubSpot app marketplace lists over 1,000 integrations that extend the functionality of its CRM suite, connecting with social media apps like Meta Platforms' Instagram, commerce software like Shopify, and email systems like Microsoft ( MSFT 1.64% ) Outlook.Of course, HubSpot faces intense competition from other CRM vendors like Salesforce, which generated 20 times more revenue than HubSpot over the last 12 months. But HubSpot's advantage lies in the quickly growing marketing automation space, where it holds nearly 34% market share. For context, the marketing automation industry was worth $3.6 billion in 2020, and is expected to grow threefold in the next five years. That edge could certainly help HubSpot grow over the next decade. But more immediately, this advantage in marketing automation gives HubSpot a foothold in the broader CRM industry, allowing the company to execute its land-and-expand growth strategy. As of fourth quarter 2021, 60% of customers use multiple HubSpot products, compared to 34% in 2017. This uptick in adoption has translated into strong financial results. In 2021, revenue rose 47% to $1.3 billion, and the company generated free cash flow of $203.3 million, up from $79.1 million the year prior. Analysts believe there's even more room for HubSpot to grow: Brad Sills of Bank of America Securities ( BAC 3.13% ) puts HubSpot's addressable market at $87 billion. To that end, HubSpot continues to innovate and expand its capabilities. Last year, it partnered with Stripe to launch HubSpot Payments, a tool that streamlines sales by enabling digital payments directly through its CRM platform. HubSpot also launched Operations Hub, a software product that helps operations teams sync data between applications and automate various business processes. Here's the bottom line: HubSpot helps its clients provide a great consumer experience across the entire customer lifecycle. That value proposition resonates with businesses in virtually every industry. More importantly, HubSpot has achieved a strong competitive position, especially in marketing automation software, and that tailwind should be a growth driver in the years ahead. In fact, I think this $23 billion business could grow fourfold to $92 billion over the next decade.Okta: CybersecurityOkta helps organizations protect sensitive applications and data. Its primary offering, Okta Identity Cloud, is a suite of identity and access management (IAM) tools that securely connects users to necessary technologies. Okta uses artificial intelligence to continuously analyze contextual signals (such as user, device, and location) to score the risk associated with each sign-in attempt. Following this formula, the platform only authenticates and authorizes appropriate users. Given the growing need for cybersecurity -- the number of Internet of Things cyberattacks alone is expected to double by 2025 -- this stock looks like a prime candidate for fourfold returns.Okta's technology is highly versatile and addresses both workforce and customer identity use cases. Okta Identity Cloud integrates with over 7,000 different software products and infrastructure providers. Okta also provides developer tools that allow clients to incorporate Okta technology into other applications. Unlike rivals such as Microsoft, Okta is infrastructure-agnostic; its identity tools aren't associated with a specific cloud vendor and the company has no incentive to push clients toward particular technologies. This neutrality gives Okta a significant edge, spurring Gartner and Forrester Research to recognize the company as a leader in the IAM space. Those accolades came alongside solid financial performance. In the past year, revenue soared 56% to $1.3 billion, and the company generated positive free cash flow of $87 million. This free cash flow represents a 22% drop compared to the year prior, due in large part to expenses associated with Okta's acquisition of Auth0. However, that acquisition strengthens Okta's position in the customer identity space. While Okta already had an impressive ecosystem of pre-built integrations, Auth0's developer tools make its easy to embed IAM solutions into any application, including consumer-facing ones.Last year, Okta announced the launch of two new products: Identity Governance, which simplifies reporting and automates workflows, and Privileged Access, which ensures heightened protection of highly valuable accounts. Collectively, these new products will strengthen Okta's position in the workforce identity space, pushing the company's addressable market to $80 billion. Both products are set to launch in first quarter 2022, and management will report on progress later in the year. For now, though, these announcements highlight Okta's ambitious growth strategy and underscore its commitment to industry expansion. In short, Okta has carved out a leadership position in the IAM industry, and through acquisition and innovation, management is working to strengthen that position. The company, which operates the world's largest movie theater chain, was crippled by the pandemic, which shuttered cinemas and movie production alike. However, the multiplex operator came roaring back in the fourth quarter, reporting revenue of $1.17 billion, up 621% year over year, and marking the company's strongest quarterly results in two years. Profits were still elusive with a net loss of $134.4 million, but that figure was much improved from a net loss of $946.1 million in the prior-year quarter.Investors welcomed the improving financials while acknowledging the movie theater kingpin still has much work to do. Lost in the shuffle, perhaps, were a couple of words uttered by AMC CEO Adam Aron that could help turn the tide for the beleaguered multiplex and eventually generate billions of dollars for the company -- and investors.Image source: Getty Images. One of these things is not like the otherSeveral years ago, AMC tried a novel experiment when the company increased weekend movie prices above what it charged during the week. The test worked so well, it became permanent. Furthermore, AMC promotes Discount Tuesdays to its loyalty members, including AMC Stubs A-List, Premiere, and Insider subscribers. AMC markets the ticket prices as offering \"blockbuster savings\" with entry discounted as much as 50% below full-priced tickets. The company also charges higher ticket prices for premium formats, including IMAX and Dolby Cinema. The two words worth billionsIn a variation on that theme, AMC announced during its earnings call that it was testing \"variable pricing\" -- which coincided with the opening of the blockbuster film The Batman.\"Currently, our prices for The Batman, which opens this week, are slightly higher than the prices we're charging for other movies playing in the same theaters at the same time,\" Aron said. Reports suggest ticket prices to see the Caped Crusader can run anywhere from $1 to $1.50 higher than tickets for other feature films. The surcharge is expected to run for eight days, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.Aron went on to point out that variable pricing is standard practice at the company's theaters in Europe, where audiences pay \"a premium for the best seats in the house,\" similar to what spectators experience at sporting events, concerts, and live theater. AMC believes this opportunity offers considerable upside.Even in the range of $1 to $1.50 per ticket, it's easy to imagine a scenario where AMC can parlay its variable pricing into a noticeable uptick in revenue. Spider-Man: No Way Home, for example, has generated more than $1.87 billion in ticket sales. Movie theaters typically share the revenue 50-50 with studios. With a 25% estimated market share and hundreds of millions of theater-goers each year, variable pricing could easily generate hundreds of millions -- or even billions -- of dollars in additional revenue for AMC, and the resulting boost to its fortunes could be a boon to shareholders.Taking a step backIt's important to remember that movie theater attendance has been in secular decline since ticket sales peaked in 2002, meaning AMC is still fighting an uphill battle. While the post-pandemic progress the company has achieved is laudable, it could be several more quarters -- or even years -- before we have a better \"picture\" of AMC's long-term potential.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMC":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1736,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9038468675,"gmtCreate":1646890169353,"gmtModify":1676534174335,"author":{"id":"3576492860240782","authorId":"3576492860240782","name":"rou","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a552b4fa38a7f2bc712e00c21bd2c846","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3576492860240782","idStr":"3576492860240782"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"nice","listText":"nice","text":"nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9038468675","repostId":"2218694281","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2218694281","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1646870432,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2218694281?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-10 08:00","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Growth Stocks Wall Street Thinks Could Soar 83% or More","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2218694281","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Investment bank analysts have some lofty price targets on these stocks.","content":"
\n
Spring hasn't even sprung, and it's already been a lousy year to be a growth stock investor. The S&P 500 Growth Index has given up a jaw-dropping 18.1% in the year to date.Investment bank analysts up and down Wall Street think the growth stock bashing we've seen all year has gone too far. In fact, they pinned some lofty price targets on these stocks that imply gains of 83% or better could be around the corner. Here's why they're so optimistic.CoinbaseCoinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) shares have fallen 36% so far this year, but Wall Street analysts who follow the cryptocurrency exchange think it can recover in a dramatic fashion. The average price target on Coinbase right now suggests 95% upside just around the corner.Discount stock brokers have already chased each other to the bottom, but crypto traders are still willing to pay relatively large fees. In 2021, Coinbase delivered a stunning $3.6 billion profit that worked out to 49% of topline revenue.Declining prices of Bitcoin and dozens of other cryptocurrencies could correspond with less trading activity this year. Luckily, collecting fees from cryptocurrency traders isn't nearly as important to Coinbase as collecting fees from cryptocurrency users. If you want to get your hands on a non-fungible token (NFT) or manage one that came with your new handbag, you're going to need a wallet from Coinbase or one of its competitors. In 2022, Coinbase expects to spend more than $4 billion on technology and development. That doesn't guarantee its crypto wallet will become ubiquitous, but it sure has a good chance.ShopifyShares of Shopify (NYSE:SHOP) have already crumbled by more than half in 2022, but Wall Street expects a rebound. The average target for this e-commerce giant represents an 83% gain over recent prices.Shopify stock has been under a lot of pressure recently because the company delivered softer-than-expected guidance when management reported fourth-quarter earnings in February. The company expects e-commerce in the first half of 2022 to be muted compared to last year's pandemic-driven growth. In addition to decelerating top-line revenue, Shopify expects to invest aggressively back into its business throughout 2022. This will squeeze the company's profit margins, but it will also cement its position as the best possible partner for independent merchants.Shopify had a hand in more than 10% of America's e-commerce sales in 2021. That makes it second only to Amazon at the moment. Maintaining this dominance could get expensive, but it will all be worth it in the long run.UpstartUpstart's (NASDAQ:UPST) stock price rose in response to a sparkling fourth-quarter earnings report in February. That wasn't much consolation to investors who have seen it fall 71% from a peak it reached last October.Investment bank analysts who get paid to follow Upstart think the stock can bounce back and climb even further. The consensus price target on the fintech stock right now represents a 90% premium over its recent price.Upstart employs artificial intelligence to sift through more data points than traditional FICO scores. Hiring Upstart to help originate loans allows banks to reach customers they may have overlooked due to FICO scores that don't paint a complete picture of their financial profile.Banks are beating a path to Upstart's door right now. Total fourth-quarter revenue shot up 252% year over year, and 2022 could be another big year. Upstart mostly deals with personal loans, but it recently expanded operations to include the relatively enormous market for auto loans. As more customers give Upstart more data to work with, the company's lead on any potential competitors gets longer. There could be more temporary dips, but Upstart's best days are ahead of us.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"COIN":1,"SHOP":1,"UPST":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2754,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9038264434,"gmtCreate":1646840701068,"gmtModify":1676534168945,"author":{"id":"3576492860240782","authorId":"3576492860240782","name":"rou","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a552b4fa38a7f2bc712e00c21bd2c846","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3576492860240782","idStr":"3576492860240782"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Surprised] ","listText":"[Surprised] ","text":"[Surprised]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9038264434","repostId":"1157057946","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1157057946","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1646837534,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1157057946?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-09 22:52","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Tesla May Be Reaching Critical Point","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1157057946","media":"seekingalpha","summary":"SummaryBerlin, Austin factories likely to start contributing in Q2.Materials inflation will impact the EV demand picture.Elon Musk and Tesla face numerous legal issues. With Russia deciding to invade U","content":"

Summary

Berlin, Austin factories likely to start contributing in Q2.

Materials inflation will impact the EV demand picture.

Elon Musk and Tesla face numerous legal issues.

With Russia deciding to invade Ukraine recently, electric vehicle maker Tesla (TSLA) has received a lot of attention. With the prices of oil and gasoline soaring, consumers and global governments are looking toward a future of renewable energy and less ICE vehicles. While the overall craziness around Tesla from years back seemed to have settled down, the future of the company could actually be reaching a critical point rather soon.

Part of the bull case for last year was the opening of two new factories that would help with the company's next leg of growth. As we've seen with a number of past Tesla items, delays ensued, but things are finally progressing. The first deliveries from these factories should start in the coming months, although they aren't likely to make any meaningful contributions until much later this year. In terms of pure volume growth, the Berlin and Austin facilities are more important items for next year's delivery surge.

Now that these factories are starting to produce vehicles, I'm curious to see how street analysts react. As I've detailed in previous articles, the street has been extremely conservative with regard to Tesla in recent quarters. As the table below shows, one analyst even sees Q4 revenues this year coming in below last year's Q4 total sales figure. Most Tesla bulls see at least an extra 125,000 deliveries in this year's Q4, so how is it possible that the company report lower revenue? These extremely low estimates continue to drag overall averages down, which helps Tesla report delivery, revenue, and earnings beats that don't truly reflect the reality here.

Tesla Revenue Estimates(Seeking Alpha Estimates Page)

As for the current quarter, total revenues are expected to be down a little sequentially, implying flat to slightly higher deliveries. That implies around 310,000 deliveries for Q1, a bit below my current expectation for 324,000. We got decent numbers out of China for January, and we're expected to get February numbers rather soon. Perhaps good data on that front will get the street average up a bit to a more realistic expectation.

With gasoline prices soaring in recent weeks, the spotlight on electric vehicles has certainly increased. However, Tesla also faces a hit from the Russia situation as the country is a key nickel producer, and other commodity prices have also soared. Cobalt, copper, and lithium carbonate prices are on the rise as well, which could dent Tesla's margins in the coming quarters unless the company raises prices again. The consumers being hurt the most by rising energy prices can't just go out and buy EVs that start at $60,000, which will impact the ongoing shift to electric vehicles.

Since Tesla unveiled the Cybertruck, for instance, prices of copper have nearly doubled, while cobalt, nickel, and lithium prices have more than doubled. That's going to make it hard for Tesla to achieve that sub $40,000 price point, unless it wants to lose a bit of money. For those arguing about massive battery savings coming up, just remember that the Model 3 starts at nearly $45,000 currently, and that's a much smaller vehicle and one that has been in mass production for years. Tesla is currently estimated to have well over a million reservations for the Cybertruck, so it will be interesting to see how many orders are canceled if prices jump 10%, 25%, or more once the vehicle actually comes to market.

Perhaps the biggest risk for Tesla currently doesn't actually involve everyday operations, as there are a number of ongoing high profile lawsuits involving the company and or Elon Musk. As the company's10-K filing details, a decision on the lawsuit against the SolarCity acquisition is due in the coming months. A trial related to the 2018 CEO award is scheduled for April, while another case involving the $420 going private transaction is scheduled for trial in May. At the same time, the SECis reportedly looking into Elon and Kimbal Musk for alleged insider trading charges. These legal actions could have widespread ramifications for Tesla, its executives, and board members, but to what degree is uncertain at this point.

As for Tesla shares, they remain in a very interesting place currently. Despite all the positive potential news for EV and solar lately, the stock has been hit with the overall market. Monday's close below $805 puts the stock well below the average street price target of $958. As the chart below shows, shares have recently lost the 200-day moving average (orange line). Without a rebound in the near term, that sets up the possibility of the dreaded death cross over the next few months, as the 50-day moving average (purple line) could cross below its longer term counterpart.

Tesla Chart With Moving Averages(Yahoo Finance)

In the end, Tesla may be approaching a key point in its history over the next couple of months. The Berlin and Austin factories are set to start contributing to the growth story, coming at a time where consumers are feeling the pain of higher gas prices thanks to the Russian war in Ukraine. Unfortunately for the company, the shift to EVs may face a stiff headwind if commodity prices continue to soar and make these vehicles much more expensive. While many eyes remain on the business itself, I will really be watching the courtroom as Tesla and Elon Musk face a number of major lawsuits. Investors are hoping the growth story can push this stock to new highs moving forward, but the overall market weakness is limiting upside currently.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2996,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9031903564,"gmtCreate":1646404446105,"gmtModify":1676534126155,"author":{"id":"3576492860240782","authorId":"3576492860240782","name":"rou","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a552b4fa38a7f2bc712e00c21bd2c846","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3576492860240782","idStr":"3576492860240782"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"great","listText":"great","text":"great","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9031903564","repostId":"1182179153","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1182179153","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1646394492,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1182179153?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-04 19:48","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple and Other Big Tech Stocks Has Had a Tough Year. Meanwhile, the Russia-Ukraine crisis could worsen the situation further. However, Daiwa analyst Jairam Nathan remains confident about Tesla’s (NASDAQ:TSLA) ability to navigate the challenges better than its peers.Highlighting Tesla’s 2021 performance, Nathan said Tesla has managed chip shortages better, while its cost-efficient China factory continues to be a major export hub, providing a competitive advantage amid the current geopolitical crisis.Nathan upgraded Tesla stock to a Buy from a Hold and expects higher fuel costs to drive demand for EVs in the future. However, he lowered his price target to $900 from $980.It’s worth noting that Tesla’s vehicle deliveries remained strong in 2021 (about 936K, up 87% year-over-year) despite the supply-chain concerns. Further, the company expects deliveries to stay strong and increase by 50% in 2022.Besides Nathan, Piper Sandler analyst Alexander Potter also has a bullish outlook on TSLA shares. While Potter sees chip shortages as a headwind, he expects Tesla to exceed its delivery growth guidance handily. The analyst expects Tesla to deliver 1.58 million vehicles in 2022, up about 69% year-over-year.TSLA Stock ForecastTesla continues to impress with its record deliveries. Meanwhile, increased volumes and operating leverage will likely support its margins. However, supply-chain concerns and increased commodity costs keep Wall Street analysts cautiously optimistic on TSLA stock.Nevertheless, investor sentiments remain positive on TSLA stock. Per TipRanks’ Stock Investors tool, 1.8% of investors holding portfolios on TipRanks have increased their stake in Tesla shares.TSLA’s stock price forecast of $1,068.40 indicates 21.4% upside potential to current levels.
