PaaS收入。\n2019年,涂鸦智能营收达到1.06亿美元。\n五年时间里,涂鸦智能将营收从0做到了1亿美元,增速可观。\n然而,为设备嵌入联网模组、让设备能够上网这件事儿,中间的利害关系复杂,并没有想象的那么简单。\n就在涂鸦智能拉队伍创业时,远在北京的小米也开启了物联网项目。当时作为小米IoT项目负责人的高自光在与家电厂商沟通过程中发现:\n\n 大企业大多希望开发自有模组,而不是采用别人的标准(模组)。\n\n小米团队花了近一年时间和各大家电厂商商谈合作事宜无果后,最终不得不将自己的IoT模组应用到小米生态链企业产品中,智米的空气净化器成了小米首款IoT产品。\n要做IoT to B业务的涂鸦智能同样要面临这一问题。\n作为一家创业企业,即使团队有大厂背景,要从0开展To B业务,也难免碰壁。\n王学集此前在接受《温州商报》采访时曾表示,“我们花了一年半时间,让最初的100个客户认识“TUYA”,才有第一个客户选择了我们。”\n对此,陈燎罕也颇有感触:\n\n 一年半的时间才有第一个客户,我们当时也会对自己产生质疑:我们的方向是不是选错了,我们进入赛道是不是进早了……,会有非常多的思考,但最后我们还是坚持下来了。\n\n4、金主&拥趸:谁在重仓涂鸦?\n2020年,涂鸦智能营收增长了70%,达到1.8亿美元。\n然而,在这样漂亮的业绩下,潜藏的却是这一行业营收的困顿。\n据涂鸦智能招股书中数据显示,在2019年和2020年分别产生了7050万美元和6690万美元的净亏损,截止2020年12月31日,涂鸦智能累计亏损1.925亿美元。\n\n对此,涂鸦智能在招股书中提及的解决之道是:「加强平台建设」和「加大营销团队投入」。\n在如今创业环境下,多数创业企业开拓市场靠的并不是营收与投入的双向流转,而是需要借力资本的力量,被看好的涂鸦智能自然不缺金主和贵人。\n吴泳铭是涂鸦智能的第一位贵人。\n阿里成立之初有18位创始人,这18位创始人凑了50万作为启动资金并各占一部分股份,创立了如今风头无两的阿里巴巴。创业之初的18人既是创始人、也是阿里的早期合伙人,后来外界也给了一个颇有武侠气息的称号——阿里十八罗汉。\n吴泳铭正是这18人之一,在阿里历任集团搜索业务、广告业务和无线业务的负责人,当王学集走出阿里再次创业时,作为王学集当时的顶头上司,吴泳铭自掏腰包成了涂鸦智能的天使投资人。\n除吴泳铭外,涂鸦智能的天使投资人还有阿里第46号员工李治国,以及同为阿里前员工屈田创办的蝙蝠资本。正因如此,涂鸦智能一度被认为是阿里系企业。\n这样的创始团队、这样的天使投资,再加上选的又是一条被公认的潜力赛道,涂鸦智能自成立之初就注定会备受关注。\n在随后几年里,涂鸦智能又拿到了多轮巨额融资,可以说是一家被“富养”的企业。据公开资料显示,涂鸦智能在2015年9月、2017年10月、2018年7月分别又拿到了千万美元、1亿人民币、2亿美元三轮融资,资方包括NEA恩颐投资、东方富海、线性资本、宽带资本、Quadrille Capital、Future Fund、C.M.Capital等国内外知名投资机构。\n另外,在筹备上市时向美国证券交易委员会(SEC)提交的招股书中,涂鸦智能披露了更多关于资方的信息,包括:\n\n腾讯持有10.8%股份、为除恩颐投资外第二大机构投资方;\n\n仍在亏损是涂鸦智能的现状,不过IoT仍是一个在持续增长的赛道,一个极有潜力的赛道,一个有无限可能的赛道。\n这使得以“IoT云第一股”在美上市的涂鸦智能,在市场上扬时、在资本簇拥下,强势成为了一家估值百亿美元的独角兽企业。\n5、重估“IoT云”\n2021年2月2日晚,阿里发布2020年Q4财报,财报显示:2020年第四季度,阿里云单季度收入116.15亿元,经调整EBITA实现盈利2400万元。\n这是阿里云自成立十二年以来,首次实现单季度盈利。\n不过,考虑到阿里云的规模优势和国内云厂商的生存环境,国内云市场的竞争依然十分激烈。\n「得到」创始人罗振宇在某次活动上曾讲述过这样一个故事:\n\n 「得到APP」所有数据是放在云上的,云供应商选择的是国内第一大云供应商阿里云,每年「得到」交给阿里云的服务费用高达数千万。\n\n\n与此同时,罗振宇的邮箱中也收到过其他中小型云服务厂商“十几万的优惠券”……\n即便竞争如此激烈,依然不耽误资本对巨头之外的云服务厂商的看好。\n2020年1月20日,UCloud以中国云计算第一股登陆科创版,首日市值突破300亿元;\n2020年5月8日,金山云作为雷军的第四家上市企业,在美上市,首日市值突破47亿美元;\n2021年3月16日,青云以混合云第一股在科创板上市,首日市值突破40亿元;\n2021年3月18日,涂鸦智能以IoT云第一股在纽交所上市。\n从实际业务来看,无论是阿里、腾讯、华为等巨头厂商,还是UCloud、金山云、青云等第二梯队云厂商均有涉及“IoT云”业务。\n在这样的重重包围中,以“IoT云第一股”上市的涂鸦智能有机会成长为下一代“巨头”吗?","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TUYA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3320,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"defaultTab":"posts","isTTM":true}
