🚀 March 31 – April 3 Leaderboard: Top Traders & Market Highlights!

Last week (from March 31 to April 3), the major indexes of the US stock market experienced significant fluctuations. On April 3, $Dow Jones(.DJI)$ showed a significant decline, setting the weakest single-day close since 2020 in terms of market performance. At the same time, $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ also presented a significant downward trend. This violent fluctuation is mainly affected by a series of large-scale tariff measures recently launched by the US government. This policy imposes high tariffs on Chinese imported goods and EU exported goods, triggering widespread concerns about the escalation of the global trade war and the risk of economic recession, thus quickly weakening investor confidence.

Affected by this, the stock prices of many well-known enterprises that rely on the global supply chain have been suppressed. Among them, the stock prices of companies such as Apple and Nike have all experienced significant pullbacks. At the same time, the S&P 500 index also shows the trend of the overall market under pressure. In general, the significant declines of the Dow Jones and Nasdaq fully reflect the impact of the new tariff policy on market sentiment and investor confidence. In the future, investors need to closely follow policy dynamics and global economic trends to make wiser decisions in the fluctuating market.

Competition Highlights:

🔹 Top-performing stock: $NVIDIA(NVDA)$

Last week, due to macroeconomic uncertainties and the impact of new tariff policies, technology stocks were generally under pressure. Nvidia (NVDA) was also dragged down by market sentiment. According to market data, Nvidia's market value experienced a decline of approximately 14%, reflecting investors' cautious attitude towards the near-term prospects of the high-tech sector. Although the company's fundamentals remain solid, external factors have had a significant impact on its stock price in the short term.

🔹 Most-traded stock: $ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ(SQQQ)$

Last week, the performance of SQQQ was affected by overall market fluctuations and changes in sentiment towards technology stocks. As an inverse triple-leveraged ETF, SQQQ aims to provide a return that is opposite and three times magnified compared to the Nasdaq 100 index on a daily basis. This means that when related technology stocks and the index decline, SQQQ theoretically should move upward, but its volatility will also be relatively magnified. Recently, due to the market's continued caution regarding economic policies and uncertainties in global trade, technology stocks have experienced a significant adjustment, which to some extent gives SQQQ the opportunity to benefit.
