For call below cost basis is better to Sell short oR long dated call? I heard arguments for both. Short is allow U chance to roll while long dated calls the extrinsic value depletes faster? Also, some say don't roll ; buy back the call at loss and let the stock rUN higher before sselling calls haha

I started building my stash selling calls way below my cost basis. I'm doing that with CLSK & MARA. Such that the amt of $ generated from options more than compensate for unrealised losses. TBH, the total $ I earn from options more than covers the amount I spent on CLSK and MARA, as if they are FOC.

U have to actively manage it (give the other party no incentive to buy over the shares from u). So you'd have to evaluate market sentiments etc. Start rolling when it's super 💚.Roll higher&further. Then if its a fake pump, when it ⬇️, you'd be 💚. Then you can close if you want or wait till expiry.
