$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ advertising platform already uses AI to optimize existing ads, but the new system will allow brands to simply upload product images and a budget, and then have AI automatically generate a complete ad — including images, videos, and copy. The system will also autonomously select target audiences on Facebook and Instagram and recommend the optimal spending amount.

Meta is also working to enable advertisers to deliver personalized ad variations in real time — for example, showing a car climbing snowy mountains to users in winter climates, while presenting urban street scenes to city audiences.
