I’m closely watching Alphabet shares ($GOOG and $GOOGL) as they head into Q2 earnings on 23Jul25, and the momentum behind them is remarkable. Google just posted 10 consecutive green sessions for the first time since 2010; one more, and it breaks the all-time record.

I feel strongly that this isn’t isolated strength:

• 10 of the last 11 weeks in the green

• 4 straight months higher

• 9 of the last 11 quarters trending up

• And up 9 of the last 11 years

That’s absoltuely a longer-term signal, not a short-term rally.

I’m extremely optimistic about Google’s earnings. Not just because of the trend, but because of what’s happening beneath the surface. Over $22M in call premium just surged into the 210C Sep19 contracts; volume was 56,767, or 77% of total open interest. That’s institutional-sized positioning ahead of a catalyst.

I also truly believe Google remains undervalued. Based on a 13.55x EV/EBITDA multiple for FY26, fair value screens around $185. With $111B in net income, 30.9% margins, and Cloud revenue up 30% year over year, I don’t think the full AI optionality is priced in. If the company delivers on margin expansion and monetisation visibility, I see $200 as an achievable near-term target.

For Q2, the Street expects $93.75B revenue and $2.25 EPS. What I’ll be watching closely is guidance, particularly around Cloud growth, YouTube monetisation, and any signal that AI deployment is beginning to drive financial leverage.

I’m not in a position yet, but I’m tracking this setup closely. If the numbers align with the technicals and the flow, I’ll be ready to act. I'm definately bullish heading into earnings and believe that it can once again exceed expectations like it did in Q1!
