I'm watching this pullback in storage shares — Micron $Micron Technology(MU)$
That said, I also recognize this sector is inherently cyclical and volatile. Some of the pullback reflects profit-taking after crazy gains, and there are still pockets of supply/demand imbalance depending on segment and product — for example NAND oversupply dynamics persist in certain channels even as enterprise SSDs tighten. I personally don't see this as a sign that the shortage logic no longer holds, but rather that markets oscillate between pricing in future growth and short-term repositioning. I've seen enough data showing continued tight high-bandwidth memory and NAND allocations driving price increases, which reinforces a longer-term narrative even if near-term sentiment cools.
So for me, this feels like a potential add-on opportunity, not a reason to step back completely. I'd consider trimming or waiting only if valuations look stretched again or if clear supply improvements soften pricing power. But given that enterprise storage demand tied to cloud and AI workloads hasn't diminished — and shortages are still widely discussed — I'm inclined to use dips to scale in incrementally rather than chasing the top or waiting indefinitely for a "perfect" price. That said, I'd still keep some dry powder in case we see a deeper correction.
