DLCs have expanded beyond indices and single equities to include select ETFs.

Beyond sustained interest in DLCs with Hong Kong underlyings, there has also been notable growth in U.S.-linked DLCs, particularly in names such as $Micron Technology(MU)$ , $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ , and $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ . Importantly, retail participation has increased, reflecting a growing appetite for leveraged strategies as investors seek more dynamic ways to express their market views.

Gold has experienced a gradual re-rating over the years, supported by several key tailwinds: (1) Sustained central bank accumulation, (2) Its role as a beneficiary of de-dollarisation trends and rising U.S. fiscal deficits, and (3) Increased demand amid heightened geopolitical tensions and a persistent inflationary environment.

Similarly, Silver has benefited from a spillover effect driven by this macroeconomic backdrop. In addition to its function as a safe-haven asset and strong demand from electric vehicles and clean energy applications, the Silver Institute reported that the metal has been in a structural supply deficit over the past decade.
