$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ I only bought a portion of what I planned to invest yesterday, so honestly if it pulls back more I'll just add. The Meta playbook feels like it has shifted—ads are bringing in income, AI is improving ad targeting, and they have their own LLAMA model. The fact that there's an open-source version with OLLAMA is a nice touch to me.
Expanding into data centers should put a fire under this in my view. It keeps costs down by doing it in-house, and they can also generate income through leasing.
Workers at Meta can leverage low-cost AI to speed things up, ads get better, and leasing adds another revenue stream.
It looks pretty straightforward from where I stand. I've never been bullish on Meta before, but that has changed now.
