$PLTR Is Too High to Chase

$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ is pushing into a major institutional supply zone tied to a roughly 2B-share block.

That doesn’t mean the stock has to sell off, and I’m not interested in shorting it here. But after such a strong run, I also wouldn’t be surprised to see the stock get rejected and eventually work its way back toward the smart-money zone around $100.

That’s where patience matters.

My plan is simple: I’m willing to wait over the next six months and see whether $PLTR gives us a better entry back near that support area. If price retraces into the zone and the setup is still intact, I’ll take the trade.

If it never comes back and instead breaks into new all-time highs without me, I’ll miss it.

And that’s completely fine.

There’s no need to chase every breakout just because a stock keeps moving higher. A good trade is only a good trade when the risk and reward make sense. Sometimes the best position is no position.

Missing one move doesn’t mean missing the market. There are hundreds of other high-quality setups developing at any given time.

I’d rather wait for my level than force a trade at someone else’s price.

  • I generally agree, but I'm more inclined to look for a short position. As strong as it's earnings were, I still think the valuation is way over done. But in the meantime, no position is best position for me too.
