[Stock Prediction] Nvidia Has Almost Everything Going Right — So What’s Left to Surprise?
NVIDIA reports fiscal Q2 2027 earnings after the U.S. market closes on August 26. Wall Street is expecting another strong quarter, with revenue of about $92 billion and adjusted EPS near $2.08. $NVIDIA(NVDA)$
But this time, a simple beat may not be enough. Investors already expect Blackwell demand to remain strong. The bigger question is whether Nvidia can show that growth will stay just as strong into the next product cycle.
What to expect？
Blackwell remains the main growth driver, with demand for AI computing still running ahead of supply. But the market is already looking ahead to Vera Rubin, Nvidia’s next-generation AI platform.
The key question is how quickly Rubin can ramp in the second half of the year. If Rubin ramps faster, Nvidia could have another reason to raise its outlook. So this quarter is not just about current GPU sales.It is about whether Nvidia can move from Blackwell to Rubin without losing momentum.
Nvidia is still expected to keep gross margin around the mid-70% range, but costs are rising. HBM4 memory is getting more expensive, and foundry costs are also moving higher. That means investors will be watching Nvidia’s pricing power closely.
Demand is also spreading beyond Microsoft, Meta, Amazon and Google. AI cloud companies, governments and leading AI labs are all spending more on computing infrastructure. That is good news for Nvidia because it means demand is coming from a wider group of customers.
If major tech companies keep increasing AI spending, Nvidia’s growth story remains strong. If spending starts to slow, the whole AI chip sector could come under pressure.
