$Microsoft(MSFT)$ revenue scale remains unmatched, but investor focus has pivoted squarely to Return on Invested Capital (ROIC). Annual capital expenditures nearly doubled to $115.9 billion in fiscal 2026 to expand AI data center capacity. While operating cash flow reached $182.9 billion, free cash flow dipped slightly under the weight of infrastructure spend. At 27x forward earnings, the stock requires sustained 20%+ Microsoft Cloud growth to offset margin pressures from early-stage AI deployments.

I keep entering trades based on emotions and ending up making the same mistakes. How do experienced traders develop discipline and a proper trading mindset?

When looking for a mentor, I think the important thing is not someone who promises quick profits. Look for someone who teaches the thinking behind trading: why they take an entry, how they manage risk, how they analyze market conditions, and how they handle losing trades.

I’ve lost money trying different strategies because I keep switching whenever something stops working. How can a beginner create a proper trading plan and know what actually works.

The problem usually isn’t the strategy. It’s the lack of a proper framework to test and understand it. A trading plan should include your setup criteria, entry rules, risk management, exit strategy, and the market conditions where the strategy works best.

One lesson I took from Owen Moshey’s mentorship is that consistency comes from mastering a process, not constantly searching for the next perfect system. Every strategy will have losing periods. The difference between experienced traders and beginners is that experienced traders understand their edge and know how to manage through different market conditions.

I think the biggest mistake most beginners make is trying to collect too much information before understanding the basics. More indicators, more strategies, and more opinions usually create more confusion.
