The $CATL(03750)$ 5x Short DLC rose 65%, boosted by underlying $CATL(03750)$ 's close to 10% drop over the 2 days of 15 to 16th September due to weakness in global EV and battery sector as investors fret over profitability and demand. In particular, CATL's selloff accelerated this week over concerns of excess capacity and competition within the sector.

    This drop looks more structural than emotional. Q3 battery installs are only growing single digits while announced capacity is still expanding double digits, so the pricing pressure feels far from done

    That decay matters more than the headline move. Has anyone run the roll cost on this 5x short DLC if CATL just chops sideways?
