Why I Have Been DCA into ServiceNow for Three Months and Am Still Buying?
I started accumulating ServiceNow(NOW) around three months ago, and I am still continuing my dollar-cost averaging (DCA) strategy today. My decision is based on my belief in the long-term potential of enterprise software and AI-driven workflow automation. Rather than trying to find the perfect entry point, I prefer to build my position gradually and give myself time to accumulate shares at different price levels.
One of the main reasons I am bullish on ServiceNow is its strong position in enterprise workflow automation. Large companies rely on its platform to streamline IT services, manage operations, and improve productivity. As businesses increasingly adopt AI, I believe ServiceNow is well positioned to help them integrate AI into their existing workflows and turn that technology into practical business value.
I also believe the recent concerns about AI disrupting traditional software companies may be too pessimistic. While AI could create new competition, it could also strengthen ServiceNow by making its platform more intelligent and efficient. Enterprises still need secure, reliable, and integrated systems to manage complex operations. If ServiceNow continues to execute well, AI adoption could become a growth driver rather than simply a threat.
My DCA strategy also helps me manage timing risk. Instead of investing all my capital at once, I spread my purchases over time and remain flexible when market conditions change. I am still monitoring the company's fundamentals, growth prospects, and valuation because a promising business does not automatically make every share price attractive. My goal is to build a meaningful position without letting short-term market sentiment dictate every decision.
For now, I will continue accumulating ServiceNow gradually as long as my investment thesis remains intact and the valuation makes sense. I am taking a long-term view rather than expecting quick gains within a few weeks. I believe patience, discipline, and consistency are essential when investing in quality businesses. The market may fluctuate along the way, but I would rather stick to a well-researched plan than constantly change direction because of short-term noise.
