$Micron Technology(MU)$ So this "writer" (AI) produced that piece. LOL.

All profitable Western HBM and server memory production is completely bottlenecked by $ASML Holding NV(ASML)$  output, which in turn is limited by Zeiss. China is also locked out, and these facilities use more energy than entire towns, so it's really only viable to produce in Asia and the USA. EU countries simply don't have cheap enough electricity anymore.

Wanting more production is one thing. Actually having more production is another. None of the memory makers will get enough $ASML Holding NV(ASML)$  machines fast enough to ramp the way they expect.

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$  and $Intel(INTC)$  could convert lines to DRAM, but they won't.

The memory shortage will likely last longer than me and many others, at least 20 years.

Even if $ASML Holding NV(ASML)$  wanted to increase production, they simply can't. They had to build a tunnel and a separate building because they couldn't expand at their current locations. Zeiss did increase production, but not enough.

Musk thinks a FEL-EUV will work. It's too expensive and uses too much power.
