All 8. Unfortunately, I think I've completed the entire trading bingo card. 😂
Sold too early, only to watch the stock rocket the next day. Bought the dip, only to discover there were another 5 dips waiting for me. 📉
Took profits too quickly on my winners, but somehow developed the patience of a saint when holding my losers. And the worst? Watching a stock finally recover to my buying price, selling it in relief… only for it to take off without me. 🥲
I've also mastered the art of checking my portfolio every 5 minutes, as though staring at the screen hard enough could change the price.
Which one hurt the most? Definitely selling too early. Losing money hurts, but watching how much I could have made somehow hurts even more. That's when the imaginary profit calculations start haunting you. 😂
After all these experiences, I've learnt that the market has a remarkable ability to test both my conviction and my emotions. Sometimes the best trade is the one I didn't make.
My investing journey in one sentence: Long-term investor by intention, accidental bagholder by experience. 🤣
Still learning, still investing, and hopefully making fewer expensive mistakes along the way!
