**I hold MSFT and refuse to sell before earnings.**

Microsoft remains one of the strongest compounders in the market. Azure continues to accelerate on AI demand, with growth expected in the mid-40s percent range and capacity still the main constraint rather than customer appetite. Copilot adoption is expanding enterprise-wide, supporting higher monetization across Microsoft 365 and the broader Intelligent Cloud business. The company’s scale, distribution, and balance sheet give it durable advantages that short-term volatility cannot erase.

Selling ahead of the print would force me to time both the exit and a potential re-entry perfectly. History shows Microsoft often beats expectations and raises guidance, rewarding patient holders. Even if the stock reacts modestly or dips on elevated expectations or heavy capex commentary, the long-term thesis—AI infrastructure leadership, recurring cloud revenue, and high incremental margins—stays intact. I prefer owning a wide-moat compounder through the noise rather than risking missing the next leg higher by trying to trade around one quarterly event.

Holding also aligns with my process: focus on business quality and multi-year growth, not quarterly theater. MSFT’s competitive position and cash generation give me confidence that temporary and future earnings will continue to drive value. I stay long.

Mid-40s Azure growth sounds great, but AI capex only works if monetization shows up faster than depreciation. That margin story still needs proving
