I prefer focusing on individual-stock recoveries rather than automatically buying QQQ after a sharp correction.

A falling price does not necessarily mean a stock is cheap. Alphabet's 103% Cloud growth is impressive, but negative quarterly free cash flow highlights the cost of expansion.

The opportunity lies in companies where earnings growth can outpace capital expenditure. I would prioritise sustainable profitability, manageable debt and improving cash flow.

QQQ offers diversification, but also exposure to expensive stocks facing valuation pressure.

My strategy: build a watchlist, scale into quality businesses gradually and retain cash.

The best dip is not the biggest decline, but a fundamentally strong business temporarily trading at a more attractive valuation.

# Global tech stocks plummeted in turn, while Crocs bucked the trend and surged. Is a turning point coming for consumer stocks?
