$Ero Copper(ERO)$ ERO: straight up Copper play with Trump announced import tariffs on Copper into US. 2nd batch of buying to continue build up this position. Small starter bets on this company with its copper mining operations in Brazil that were hit by 2 separate negative news. First is the 50% import tariffs slapped by US and the 2nd was copper tariffs of 50% as well. These 2 news won't be able to stack as no matter what is 50% import tariffs. The next argument is ERO actually don't sell to US so it's a case of throwing t the baby with the bath water. 3rd supporting news is because of these uncertainties, copper price is at 52 weeks high, so any miners with good operators will be able to make decent profits.

MSTR continue his Bullish rise for the 2nd week as BTC continue to make new all time highe. The BTC however had touched $123k on Monday before retracing lower to close at $120k and now at point of writing trading at $117k potentially forming a topping tail at the peak of the chart. Still immature to call it reversal, but maybe starting to form with profit taking a possibility. This trade is a bearish trade as I was using it to close up my nett short positions after selling short calls at $400 the week earlier and got assigned. I'm targeting for BTC and by proxy MSTR

$GDX 20250801 50.0 PUT$ GDX: collect 0.85% premium on this cash secured put with strike at $50. Contract expires in 3 weeks on 1st Aug. Gold rose slightly for the day before giving back most gain by closing and end at $52.45. Managed to sell this put at high price during early of trading session and when it retreated, the trade is in paper loss now. Anyway happy to get assigned at $50 if that's how it turned out. Continue to hold short positions on GDX as proxy for gold trade but then will be selling puts at lower levels $50 strike or below to nett them off. trading GDX within the narrow range of $50 to $55 for the coming weeks until it breaks out of either direction.

VXX and volatility continued to slide amidst a bullish market that made all time highs. Will be accumulating VXX long positions through selling puts and once get assigned, selling short calls to run a wheel strategy, this recent trade being one of them.
