$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bear 3x Shares(SOXS)$  it's never enough... at least not yet... I am topping up slowly, perhaps a little too slow to my liking. However, I am also keenly aware that buying into a leveraged short bet, only sufficient buffer would do the job. Something just can't be rushed. This is not the first time I have advocated getting insurance for this time period. There are a couple of things going on, all interconnected. The commonality? Trump-led US mess. Many people sing his praises... for various reasons. I do too, although a little out of tune, for the chaos he created for the world. No, there is no anger in my voice, just incredulously dumbfounded... War with Iran, tariffs for "friends of

Hike Odds Near Nine in Ten: Is the Market Right to Look Past It?

On Friday the August CPI report landed, traders took the odds of a 25 basis point hike this week from 75 per cent to close to nine in ten, and $S&P 500(.SPX)$ closed 0.86 per cent higher all the same, ending a four-session slide; $Dow Jones(.DJI)$ closed 0.98 per cent higher, a gain of more than 500 points. The bet on higher rates got bigger. The buyers came back. August CPI rose 3.4 per cent year on year, level with July and in line with expectations; month on month it rose 0.4 per cent against 0.1 per cent in July. The gasoline index rose 3.9 per cent on the month and accounted for a third of the entire rise in goods prices. Core CPI eased to 2.4 per cent year on year
Hike Odds Near Nine in Ten: Is the Market Right to Look Past It?
TOPJerry Lam: I think that "AI contributing half of the S&P 500's earnings growth" can be maintained in the short term, but it is difficult to maintain such a high proportion in the long term. The reason is that AI capital expenditure is still in a phase of high-intensity expansion. Companies such as NVDA, AVGO, servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure can indeed quickly convert AI demand into revenue and profits. Therefore, AI's driving force on index earnings will be very concentrated and visible. However, the market will inevitably begin to ask the second question: do these profits come from "others continuing to smash CapEx" or from AI itself generating enough new revenue and cash flow? If cloud vendors keep increasing their budgets while application-side monetization can't keep up, then high growth will be difficult to sustain indefinitely. Therefore, I am more optimistic about two types of companies: one is a shovel seller who collects money first, and the other is an application platform that can truly turn AI into subscriptions, advertising, cloud revenue, and Agent pay. The truly dangerous companies are those that prioritize asset investment but struggle to keep up with cash flow for a long time. In short: AI can continue to contribute a large portion of profit growth, but in the next stage, the market will shift from "who spends the most money" to "who is the first to turn AI into real money".

$Circle Internet Corp.(CRCL)$ If you ask if I would keep $Circle Internet Corp.(CRCL)$  for long term  - Yes — I would keep Circle (CRCL) for the long term, but I would treat it as a high-growth/high-risk position rather than a core “set-and-forget” holding. Given your previously mentioned 120 shares around $89.21, the situation has improved: at about $97.50, you’re roughly +9% before costs. More importantly, the long-term thesis is getting stronger. Why I’d keep it 1. USDC is growing strongly. Circle ended Q2 2026 with $73.3B of USDC in circulation, up 19% YoY, while Q2 on-chain transaction volume reached $14.8T. That’s the key metric I’d watch. Circle’s value ultimately depends on USDC be

TOPJoyceTobias: Valuation here is really USDC circulation plus volume plus non-reserve revenue, not just the stock price. If non-reserve revenue starts scaling, the long-term case gets a lot cleaner

$Apple(AAPL)$ would you buy more $Apple(AAPL)$  ? Yes — I would keep AAPL for the long term, but I’m less enthusiastic about adding aggressively at current levels than I am about $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$   or some of the semiconductor. Apple’s fundamentals are actually quite strong right now. Its fiscal Q3 2026 revenue was $109.4B, up 16% YoY, with EPS up 29%, and iPhone, Mac and Services all hitting June-quarter records. 🍎 My AAPL outlook Long-term rating: 8/10 — HOLD / ACCUMULATE on pullbacks The interesting thing now is that Apple has several potential catalysts: * iPhone 18 cycle — early demand appears strong. * First foldable iPh

POLL>>🪙 | 💰 10 US Stocks Hit New Highs: CVX, SHEL, CRWD, COP, NET,...

💬 Join the discussion: Vote in our poll below and share your take in the comments — every useful comment earns Tiger Coins! 🎁 Ten U.S. stocks with market caps above $10 billion hit fresh all-time highs as of September 11, 2026. The top 10 span integrated oil majors, independent refiners, AI-era cybersecurity, connectivity-cloud infrastructure, South Korean banking, and global freight logistics. The spread reflects a crude and refined-product supercycle (Brent back above $100/bbl, refining margins at multi-year highs driving triple-digit refiner gains), an "agentic AI" security land-grab lifting cybersecurity and cloud-connectivity names on accelerating ARR, strong capital returns and M&A at the energy majors, a fee-income boom in Korean financials, and Middle East-driven air-freight ca

TOPKentzw: I’m going with C — CRWD / NET. 🔐☁️ Oil and refiners can keep benefiting while Brent stays above $100, but that trade is increasingly dependent on how long the supply shock lasts. Cybersecurity and connectivity have a different catalyst: the more AI agents spread, the more companies need to secure identities, networks, cloud infrastructure and data. If AI spending rotates from building AI → securing AI, I think C has the most room to surprise on the upside. 👀

Interest hike impact US Market & Treasury ...

US markets are bracing for the upcoming FOMC announcement on Wed, 16 Sep 2026, with market pricing, strongly hint of a +0.25% interest rate hike. As a solo retail investor, are you wondering how a tighter monetary policy will alter: Equities’ valuations. Borrowing costs (consumers or businesses etc..). Asset prices (stocks, bonds, real estates etc..) ? Will looking at how US economy changed in the past, under same macro-action, help to prepare us on what could happen next to fixed income (bond), precious metals (gold), and the stock market ? No harm trying, right ? So far… US benchmark index sits near record highs while Treasury yields climb toward levels that have repeatedly unsettled equity investors. (see below) Past 3 months' performances The 10-year note hovers just below 5.0%, the 30
