$Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$  Not too sure about the future of BRK. Their insurance businesses have grown too large, and now that they have axed their holdings of Apple in half, there is not much technology tilt in their portfolio. I feel they will grow in line with the Dow Jones index, and will underperform QQQ over the long term but with lower volatility. It remains to be seen what they will deploy all their cash in treasuries into, but any news of increased stakeholding will send the respective stocks soaring. 

The beauty of fractional shares lies in their flexibility. I can allocate my $1000 across multiple positions, without being forced into an either-or decision. For instance, I can opt for a 60/40 split between $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$ and $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$, or any other ratio that suits my market view. This granular control enables me to diversify my portfolio, manage risk, and capitalize on opportunities with precision.

Ulta Beauty slumped as Warren bought into it just weeks ago and he had also sold off and retained cash rather than invest in other entities. Is that a hint on his part that at best even if he had invested in this type of strong and resilient consumer based company, the stock would drop anyway, and the time for a steep correction if not crash of the market is happening soon?

I don’t know about Berkshire vs Nasdaq. But I will go for S&P ETF instead, because that’s what even Warran Buffett had recommended if one doesn’t know better about stocks picking Clever take?

safer to buy Nasdaq qqq, even safer to buy S&P SPY as they are ETF. Single stock counter can be more volatile.  Can put some in Berkshire, since it has a good track record.

Not BRK for the time being as I believe that they are overvalued for now. QQQ is an option but I won’t put it all in at a go. Perhaps DCA in over a period of time?

I would say don't stop, keep doing what you're doing to keep the mind active. that's one of the ways to healthy living in old age.

Easy choice to buy Berkshire Hathaway instead of the Nasdaq 100 as the "Oracle of Omaha" is just so amazing at 94 yrs old.

If I can only choose between the 2, I would go for $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$ for diversification. else both seemed good fundamentals
