The militant group defeated Yemen's government forces in Mokha, a key port on the Red Sea. Control over Mokha gives the Houthis a strong position to target vessels passing through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ The Cybercab launch strategy looks brilliant. Rather than Tesla pouring billions into building and financing the whole Robotaxi fleet itself, individuals and businesses can buy Cybercabs and put them into the network. Other people's capital funds the expansion while Tesla profits from selling the vehicles, and could potentially earn ongoing revenue from every ride as well. Waymo has to finance, own and operate its fleet. Tesla can scale through millions of owners. That's a completely different business model, and potentially a far more powerful one.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ There was a DP trade last week where they switched to TSLA after placing a position in the 140 zone on SPCX, and that led to a heavy bull stance in TSLA which has played out the way it has over the past month. They move back and forth between names on a daily basis. $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ If this PR were about TSLA getting the first federal approval for a steering-wheel-free commercial robotaxi, the market reaction would have been considerably larger. TSLA investors tend to capitalize future autonomy profits much more aggressively than AMZN investors apparently — whose attention remains focused on AWS growth, AI capex, margins, and retail execution.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ Added a few more shares of TSLA today. The sentiment is unbelievably negative right now, which usually gets my attention. I'm not trying to call a bottom, but I also don't see a reason to dump shares after a rough stretch. Sometimes the best trades come when nobody wants to touch a stock.
