$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ What happened to those who claimed AMD was overpriced at $236 a share. I bought 3100 shares in 2014 at an average cost of $2.66 and held on through the ups and downs. Currently, my $8200 investment is up over 15000%. My heirs get the shares at the stepped-up cost basis. No dividends means I haven't paid taxes on the gains. AMD is like a tax-deferred retirement plan where the money compounds tax-free.
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ Some keep calling for a drop after earnings. They seem to forget it dropped over 20% after the last report, and yet the stock is now trading $100 higher than before that previous run-up. Honestly, what it does in the very near term doesn't matter much. Over the next couple of years, this is a $1T market cap story.
$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ The market's demand for AI chips is something GOOG can't meet, not even close. NVDA, on the other hand, will be just fine. After all this time in the AI era, it's surprising this even needs to be said.
