I’ve been DCA-ing $VOO monthly for around two years, and it’s my core long-term holding.   VOO tracks the S&P 500, holding 500 large blue-chip US companies. It has a low expense ratio of just 0.03%, with relatively mild volatility, which makes it a classic base position for DCA investors like me. I’m aiming for beta returns here — simply capturing the broad market growth instead of chasing hard-to-stable alpha from picking individual stocks.   I follow regular time-based DCA: I put in a fixed sum every month. I’ve seen several market pullbacks over this period. When prices dropped sharply, I felt anxious and wondered if I should pause my buys. But I reminded myself that DCA works best during dips. I stuck strictly to my schedule and kept buying, without changing my plan. &nbs
