      Revisiting Coinbase: Still A Buy? (Part 1)

      @thewontoninvestor
      Hey everyone, Wonton Investor here. Let's talk about Coinbase. A few months ago, I laid out my thesis on $Coinbase Global, Inc.(COIN)$ . I saw it as a fantastic, foundational company, but one that was ultimately a cyclical stock. My whole strategy was built around the idea of: wait for the inevitable "crypto winter," for sentiment to sour and the price to drop, and then buy the dip on a great asset. Today, I'm back to talk about that thesis. But I'm not here to rewrite it. I'm here to tell you I'm doubling down. Everything I believed about Coinbase's fundamental strengths is not only proving true, but the recent turn of events suggests that the boom of Coinbase - one that I previously thought was cyclical - is now seemingly leaning towards be

      INTC : Road to recovery, foundry stock ?

      @JC888
      On Thu, 24 Jul 2025 - $Intel(INTC)$ released its much-anticipated Q2 earnings as scheduled. It is a mixed set of earnings that (to me, personally is showing signs of stabilization, thanks in part to slashing expenses, to keep both company and business afloat. Q2 Earnings. According to estimates by LSEG: Loss per share (adjusted) : was -$0.10 per share vs analysts’ consensus of $0.01 vs Q2 2024’s $0.02; that represents a -600% YoY, decline in EPS. Time to sell Citibank & BofA, like BRK.B ?

      @JC888
      For week ending 19 Jul 2025, Wall Street banks are coining it in Donald Trump’s America. Goldman Sachs this week reported a +22% jump in profits, driven by record trading revenues as tariffs roiled stock markets. Citigroup’s profits jumped by +25%, beating analysts’ expectations. Even the $KBW Bank Index(BKX)$ closed to an all-time high. (see above) However, not everyone is convinced that the good times are going to last. Warren Buffett, the Sage of Omaha, has been shedding his US bank holdings, again. At the start of 2025, Buffett’s $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$ sold about $3.2 billion of shares in American banks and financial companies. Buffett sold about: $1billion stake in

      Apple's Got A $204 Billion 'Problem' That's Costing It A Fortune

      Not only didApplesmash first-quarter profit forecasts, it just broke past another S&P 500 threshold: cash. The problem is the company can't get rid of it fast enough — which is costing investors.The tech sector giant ended the three months ended in March 2021 with cash and investments of $204 billion. That's up nearly 5% in a month and keeps Apple No. 1, by far, in the S&P 500 in terms of cash on hand. Google parentAlphabet in the communications services sector is a distant No. 2 with $160 billi
