implosion of FTX, a previously trusted exchange that had a high profile with even casual investors, thanks to its extensive marketing, gave a black eye to a space that has already taken its lumps this year. However, while many investors have sold their cryptocurrencies during the current crypto winter, for every seller there is a buyer, and some of them are long-term investors who have conviction in the crypto's potential. Chaos can provide good buying opportunities. Here are three cryptos for risk-tolerant investors to consider buying during the current bear market.1. EthereumEthereum has rallied 26% since its June low, but has sold off following the FTX bankruptcy filing. However, this could be a case of the baby being thrown out with the bathwater as Ethereum is a decentralized, established cryptocurrency that has little to do with FTX. No single entity controls Ethereum, and over 70 million users worldwide help to validate transactions and secure the Ethereum network, putting it in stark contrast with cryptocurrencies like FTX Token and many of the other newer cryptocurrencies issued by exchanges and other centralized entities. This year, Ethereum users welcomed its long-awaited transition to proof-of-stake consensus, known as The Merge, which drastically reduced Ethereum's carbon footprint, paved the way for sharding (which will eventually lead to faster transactions and lower fees when implemented in the next upgrade), and opened up the ability for more Ethereum users to earn rewards for participating in the network by staking their holdings to validate transactions and secure the network. The ability to easily earn staking rewards also increases Ethereum's appeal as an investment. A user needs to stake a minimum of 32 Ether to run their own validator, but there are plenty of services that stake your Ethereum for you, allowing you to earn returns competitive with the payouts you can earn from popular dividend stocks as well as 10-year Treasury notes. The $180 billion cryptocurrency is by far the largest smart-contract platform, making it the de facto gateway for larger institutional investors that want to get involved in the world of decentralized finance (DeFi). JPMorgan Chase recently tested the waters of decentralized finance with its first ever DeFi trade. The trade was executed on the Polygon blockchain, which is a Layer 2 network on Ethereum. Major decentralized exchanges like Uniswap, dYdX, and others are built on Ethereum. As additional traditional financial heavyweights get involved in decentralized finance, Ethereum will be their first stop. With new capabilities after The Merge such as the ability to earn rewards for staking, and its position at the gateway to the world of DeFi, Ethereum looks like a top cryptocurrency to buy during the bear market.2. Bitcoin Like Ethereum, Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency that stands out in the crowd. The original crypto is also the original decentralized asset. There is no leader or central authority that controls the Bitcoin network -- meaning there's no one entity that can make a poor decision or act in a manner that destroys the value of Bitcoin. A network of miners all over the world secure the Bitcoin network by solving complex mathematical equations to validate transactions and earn more Bitcoin. Bitcoin is also transparent in that all transactions appear on its blockchain, which is publicly viewable.Bitcoin is the oldest and largest cryptocurrency, and will benefit as the gateway to cryptocurrency as more institutional investors and corporations test the waters of cryptocurrency. While the FTX saga has certainly set crypto adoption back a few steps, overall, the tide is turning toward Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole. On Oct. 11, Bank of New York Mellon, the world's largest custodial bank, announced that it would offer custody for cryptocurrencies. Alphabet recently announced it would utilize Coinbase to accept payments using Bitcoin for its Google Cloud services, and Mastercard announced it would offer its services to enable traditional banks to offer cryptocurrency trading. As the world moves further toward crypto adoption, Bitcoin is best suited to lead cryptocurrency forward.3. LitecoinLitecoin is one major crypto that has been able to avoid being pulled down in the current sell-off, and the proof-of-work crypto is surprisingly up 16% over the past month. The $4 billion crypto, which started as a fork of Bitcoin in 2011, is experiencing a bit of a resurgence, with a rally of 53% since the low it hit in June.Litecoin is surging as the network's hash rate hits new all-time highs, indicating increasing interest in Litecoin and more competition to earn Litecoin by mining. Litecoin also benefited from news that it will join Bitcoin and Ethereum as digital assets that will be available on Moneygram International's payment platform. Like Bitcoin and Ethereum, Litecoin is one of the cryptocurrencies that Google Cloud will accept for payment, giving the 16th-largest crypto by market cap enhanced credibility. Perhaps a renewed interest in decentralized, proof-of-work assets plus growing adoption will continue to propel Litecoin higher. The current crypto winter has been difficult for investors, but this bear market is also an opportune time for long-term, risk-tolerant investors to accumulate more tokens at lower prices before market sentiment again turns positive.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2374,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9963847861,"gmtCreate":1668650906953,"gmtModify":1676538090842,"author":{"id":"4098953979648150","authorId":"4098953979648150","name":"SLHengHuat","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a399e9995416d904f201cf2f32456e74","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098953979648150","idStr":"4098953979648150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"😑","listText":"😑","text":"😑","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9963847861","repostId":"1151742975","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1151742975","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1668644942,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1151742975?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-11-17 08:29","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Micron Stock Falls 6.7% After Issuing Grim Warning for Industry","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1151742975","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"Micron (MU) stock is under pressure on Wednesday, down about 7%.This decline comes after the company","content":"
\n
Micron (MU) stock is under pressure on Wednesday, down about 7%.This decline comes after the company said the 2023 market outlook had “weakened.”Micron plans to cut production as a result of this ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n","source":"investorplace","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; MU stock is pulling back as the company provides a grim warning about its business.Just as semiconductor stocks seemed to be finding their groove, Micron is pouring cold water on the rally. Of course, it doesn’t help that the overall market is under pressure on the day as well. Today’s drop in MU stock comes after Micron said it plans to cut production in the months ahead:“In response to market conditions, the company is reducing DRAM and NAND wafer starts by approximately 20% versus fiscal fourth quarter 2022. These reductions will be made across all technology nodes where Micron has meaningful output.”Further, Micron added that “the market outlook for calendar 2023 has weakened.”This news is obviously not good and doesn’t send a great signal for the rest of the chip industry. And of course, it doesn’t help that outlooks from Advanced Micro Devices and Intel weren’t exactly bullish endorsements when they reported earnings, either. What Does This Mean for MU Stock and Semiconductors? When looking at the VanEck Semiconductor ETF (NASDAQ:SMH), the exchange-traded fund hit a new multi-month high on Tuesday. In fact, SMH just hit its highest level since August. The same can be said of MU stock and many other chip stocks, for that matter. With this group losing a bit of momentum today, investors are wondering if the recent rally is just another bear market rally rather than a new sustainable uptrend. At this juncture, it’s impossible to say. Semiconductor stocks are leading indicators in the market and in the economy. When this group is trading well, it’s usually bullish for tech stocks, which are a big driver in the stock market. However, when the group is struggling, tech stocks often struggle as well.In that regard, investors want to see chip stocks find support on the current dip.Micron’s warning is understandably weighing on MU stock. While we won’t get a quarterly update from Micron until December, Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) will report earnings after market close today. Investors are hoping management can tell a good story, but anything similar to Micron’s take and semiconductor stocks may be in for more pain in the short term.Notably, today’s Micron news is also weighing on Seagate Technologies (NASDAQ:STX) and Western Digital (NASDAQ:WDC), which are down about 4% and 7%, respectively.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"MU":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2295,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9963847338,"gmtCreate":1668650877624,"gmtModify":1676538090842,"author":{"id":"4098953979648150","authorId":"4098953979648150","name":"SLHengHuat","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a399e9995416d904f201cf2f32456e74","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098953979648150","idStr":"4098953979648150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Thanks for info","listText":"Thanks for info","text":"Thanks for info","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9963847338","repostId":"2284874827","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2284874827","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1668647860,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2284874827?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-11-17 09:17","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why Peloton Stock Got Beat Up on Wednesday","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2284874827","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"The market wasn't impressed with the struggling manufacturer's latest sales and distribution news.","content":"
\n
What happenedTypically, when a company announces that it has opened new sales and/or distribution channels for its goods, its investors react positively. That wasn't the case with Peloton Interactive on Wednesday, however. Shares of the once-popular exercise equipment maker fell by nearly 8% on the day after it announced an expansion of an existing distribution deal.So whatBefore market open, Peloton divulged that it is expanding its partnership with mighty retailer Amazon. Peloton's exercise equipment is now available for purchase at Amazon's online store in the U.K., and will start appearing in listings for the online retail giant's Germany site \"in the coming weeks,\" Peloton said. The company's exercise bikes are shipped unassembled. As with the U.S. Amazon site, though, customers in mainland U.K. -- i.e., everywhere but Northern Ireland -- buying through the online retailer will have the option of \"expert\" on-site assembly, which is offered free of charge. Peloton didn't mention whether German consumers will have the same choice.Peloton began offering its equipment and apparel through Amazon in late August. In the press release trumpeting the expansion of that arrangement into Europe, Peloton's General Manager for International Manu Seigner said, \"Further expanding our distribution channels through Amazon is our latest move to make Peloton readily accessible and to meet our members where they are.\"Now whatOn the surface of it, this news seems unambiguously positive. Peloton is transitioning from a direct-to-consumer manufacturer to one eager and willing to distribute through major channels like Amazon. That should help it move more of those exercise bikes. But perhaps this provides an uncomfortable reminder to investors that the company continues to struggle. Its sales and engagement figures have come down significantly of late, as the world attempts to get past the coronavirus pandemic. The regular in-home exercising trend that took hold in the thick of the pandemic now looks more like a fad borne of necessity rather than a long-term shift.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMZN":0.9,"PTON":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2360,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9963844625,"gmtCreate":1668650836068,"gmtModify":1676538090820,"author":{"id":"4098953979648150","authorId":"4098953979648150","name":"SLHengHuat","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a399e9995416d904f201cf2f32456e74","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098953979648150","idStr":"4098953979648150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Thanks","listText":"Thanks","text":"Thanks","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9963844625","repostId":"2284831377","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2284831377","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1668648381,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2284831377?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-11-17 09:26","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why Nio Shares Plunged 8.5% on Wednesday?","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2284831377","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Nio expected a sharp increase in production and deliveries in the fourth quarter, but there are signs that plan could falter.","content":"
\n
What happenedThe American depositary shares of China-based Nio were plummeting Wednesday morning. Shares dropped as much as 9% and remained down 8.1% as of 11 a.m. ET. Two news items out of China have investors in the electric vehicle (EV) company selling today. So whatFirst, Nio and its EV peers in China have been negatively impacted by lockdowns driven by China's \"zero-COVID\" policy. The company seemed to imply that headwind was behind it now, as it estimated deliveries for the fourth quarter would increase between 36% and 52% over the third quarter. Those lockdowns haven't just impacted production. Consumer demand has also taken a hit, and another report today implies that automakers in China are still struggling to bring customers back into the market.Image source: Nio.Second, as Mercedes-Benz Group works to expand its EV lineup in China, it has now lowered prices as much as the equivalent of almost $34,000 for its high-end model, reports Barron's. The automaker is reportedly dropping the price of its EQS to about $136,000 from $170,000. But even the lower-priced EQE model is being reduced by more than 9% to $68,000.Now whatNio has reported expanding losses, and it needs to boost production to move closer to profitability. If new restrictions related to COVID-19 affect production and delivery once again in the fourth quarter, it will undoubtedly cause the company to reduce its guidance.Whether that's what is prompting Mercedes-Benz to lower prices or not, that is still competition at the luxury end of the market for Nio. It seems investors see both news items as reasons to sell the stock today.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"09866":0.9,"NIO.SI":0.9,"NIO":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2724,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9963845420,"gmtCreate":1668650802361,"gmtModify":1676538090793,"author":{"id":"4098953979648150","authorId":"4098953979648150","name":"SLHengHuat","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a399e9995416d904f201cf2f32456e74","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098953979648150","idStr":"4098953979648150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good, thanks","listText":"Good, thanks","text":"Good, thanks","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9963845420","repostId":"1139920329","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1139920329","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1668639746,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1139920329?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-11-17 07:02","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Nvidia Sales Beat Estimates as Data-Center Business Fuels Growth","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1139920329","media":"Bloomberg","summary":"Nvidia Corp., the most valuable US semiconductor maker, posted quarterly sales that topped analysts’","content":"
\n
Nvidia Corp., the most valuable US semiconductor maker, posted quarterly sales that topped analysts’ estimates after its data-center business helped offset sluggish demand for video-game chips. While ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n","source":"lsy1584095487587","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Data-center revenue jumped 31%, also beating projections, compared with a 51% drop for the company’s gaming business.Nvidia shares gained more than 2% in late trading Wednesday. They had closed at $159.10 earlier, down 46% for the year.Though Nvidia’s fourth-quarter forecast was a little light of estimates, the report allayed investors’ fears that the industry is deteriorating further. Owners of large cloud-computing facilities are increasingly using Nvidia’s graphics chips to handle artificial intelligence tasks, and that business has held up better than the sputtering personal-computer market.Data-center sales were helped by orders from US cloud service providers, with demand weakening in China, Nvidia said. The division generated $3.83 billion in total, compared with a $3.79 billion estimate.Nvidia announced further inroads into the data-center market earlier Wednesday, when it said that Microsoft Corp. will use its graphics chips, networking products and software for a new AI offering. Nvidia’s leadership has argued that its broad range of technology for such systems gives it an advantage over competitors with partial solutions.Data centers are a bright spot in a computing industry still mired in a slump. Makers of chips for laptops and desktops suffered a steep decline in orders this year as recession-wary customers put off big-ticket electronics purchases. That led to a buildup in inventory that the industry still needs to work through.“We are quickly adapting to the macro environment, correcting inventory levels and paving the way for new products,” Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang said in a statement. After a massive spike in demand for home-office computers during the pandemic, spending on the devices collapsed more quickly than expected. Company executives have argued that supply-chain disruptions over the last three years have caused distortions in the market, accentuating the industry’s boom times, and now, its bust. The hope is that companies and consumers will eventually return to a level of spending that’s higher than before the pandemic. The company expects fourth-quarter revenue to be about $6 billion, plus or minus 2%. That compares with an estimate of $6.09 billion. Third-quarter profit came in at 58 cents a share, excluding some items, short of the 70-cent projection.Nvidia built its reputation making electronics for gaming PCs, and that business has gotten hammered along with the broader PC market. Still, the division’s 51% decline last quarter wasn’t as bad as some analysts feared. Nvidia’s GeForce graphics chips are a must-have for high-end PC owners looking for the most realistic gaming experience. The chips also became popular with digital currency miners, though the crypto rout and changes to the way the asset is mined have undercut that market.Nvidia’s best AI offerings are now subject to licensing requirements for export to China, a hurdle that the company said may cost it hundred of millions of dollars in lost revenue. Nvidia recently debuted a new offering for that market that it says is compliant with the restrictions. The Santa Clara, California-based company said Wednesday that sales of other chips helped offset the slowdown in China.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"NVDA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2683,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9980478746,"gmtCreate":1665803704885,"gmtModify":1676537667385,"author":{"id":"4098953979648150","authorId":"4098953979648150","name":"SLHengHuat","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a399e9995416d904f201cf2f32456e74","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098953979648150","idStr":"4098953979648150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great info, thanks","listText":"Great info, thanks","text":"Great info, thanks","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9980478746","repostId":"2275933408","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2275933408","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1665797405,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2275933408?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-10-15 09:30","market":"us","language":"en","title":"2 Monster Stocks You'll Want to Buy Now and Hold Forever","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2275933408","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"They're both global leaders in their businesses.","content":"
\n
What's a monster stock? In my book, it's a company that's grown earnings over time and returns for investors. Today, a lot of these players have followed the general market lower. In some cases, they're struggling with current headwinds like higher inflation. But their positive long-term outlook remains intact. That's why you'll want to buy these stocks today, at a discount, and hold on for the long haul. Two perfect examples are Amazon and Home Depot. They've proved their strengths. And they just so happen to be global leaders in their businesses.1. AmazonAmazon stock has climbed more than 125% over the past five years. Annual revenue and net income also have advanced, well into the billions of dollars, during that time period. This is as the company grew its position in two major businesses: e-commerce and cloud computing.Today, net sales continue to climb at Amazon thanks to its leadership in these areas. But higher costs and supply chain troubles have been weighing on earnings. As a result, operating income and operating cash flow have been on the decline. The stock price, too, has suffered. It's lost 32% so far this year. And that leaves Amazon trading at less than 3 times sales. That's close to its lowest level in about six years. Here's why this is a bargain for Amazon. Today's troubles are linked to the overall economy, so they're temporary. At the same time, the company is making progress in handling them. It's controlling certain costs and improving productivity, for example.Another bright spot is the cloud computing business, Amazon Web Services (AWS). It has continued to grow in spite of today's tough economy. AWS posted double-digit gains in sales and operating income in the second quarter. As for e-commerce, the strength of its Prime subscription service should power earnings growth once the economy improves. As it stands today, Prime members continue to spend more and more on the platform. All of this makes me optimistic that Amazon can once again deliver more than just packages. It has what it takes to deliver great gains to shareholders over time.2. Home DepotWhen it comes to earnings, Home Depot has defied the general economic gloom. In the second quarter, the world's biggest home improvement retailer reported its highest quarterly sales and earnings ever. The stock price hasn't followed, though. Home Depot shares have lost more than 30% since the beginning of the year. This leaves the shares trading at about 17 times forward earnings estimates. That's lower than the more than 25 number earlier this year. At the same time, as mentioned above, revenue continues to rise. This is a great entry point for a company that continues to grow in spite of a difficult environment -- and a company with solid prospects.HD PE ratio (forward). Data by YCharts. So, why is the stock down today? Some investors are avoiding stocks linked to consumer spending. And Home Depot falls into that category. It's also possible that it eventually will see a slowdown. But as I mentioned above regarding Amazon, any such slowdown is temporary. Here's why there's more reason to be positive about Home Depot and buy the stock for the long term. First, if the company can do this well during tough times, there's reason to believe it can truly flourish when the economy improves.Second, Home Depot has offered us some visibility on what's ahead, and it looks positive. The company recently reported its professional customers say their project backlogs remain healthy.Another positive point is the company's move to improve its digital platform, for professionals and do-it-yourself customers. And that's bearing fruit. In the second quarter, it reported record downloads, sales, and traffic on its mobile app.Right now, Home Depot shares look dirt cheap. That's considering today's earnings performance and the long-term picture for this market leader.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMZN":0.9,"HD":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3002,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9915923116,"gmtCreate":1664938440435,"gmtModify":1676537532863,"author":{"id":"4098953979648150","authorId":"4098953979648150","name":"SLHengHuat","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a399e9995416d904f201cf2f32456e74","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098953979648150","idStr":"4098953979648150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great, investor who is looking for a steady stream of passive income.

Their ability to pay out consistent dividends makes them suitable for investors seeking an additional source of income.

In recent months, persistently high inflation has led to the US Federal Reserve hiking interest rates at a pace not seen in decades.

The higher interest rate environment has dampened demand for REITs, causing many to fall to their 52-week lows.

Their distribution yields have also increased as their unit prices decline.

You should carefully study each REIT’s attributes to ensure you are not walking into a value trap.

Here are four high-yielding REITs trading at a year low that you may want to add to your buy watchlist.

iREIT Global

iREIT Global invests in office, retail and industrial properties in Europe, and its portfolio comprises a total of 37 properties.

The REIT’s portfolio consists of five freehold office properties in Germany, five in Spain and 27 freehold retail properties in France.

iREIT Global’s unit price has fallen 21.5% in the last year, touching close to its 52-week low of S$0.50.

For the REIT’s fiscal 2022’s first half (1H2022), it reported a 27.2% year on year jump in gross revenue to €30.1 million.

Net property income (NPI) rose 26.4% year on year to €24.4 million.

Distribution per unit (DPU) after retention came up to €0.0141, dipping slightly below the €0.0143 paid out a year ago.

iREIT Global’s units provide a forward distribution yield of 7.3%.

The REIT’s aggregate leverage stood at 30.8% as of 30 June 2022 with a low cost of borrowings of 1.8%, allowing it sufficient debt headroom for acquisitions.

United Hampshire US REIT

United Hampshire US REIT, or UHREIT, invests in a portfolio of grocery-anchored and necessity-based properties in the US.

Its portfolio comprises 21 grocery and necessity properties as well as two self-storage properties.

UHREIT’s unit price has tumbled 13.2% in the past year and is hovering close to its 52-week low of US$0.58.

For 1H2022, the REIT reported an 18.5% year on year rise in gross revenue to US$31.8 million and a 10.6% year on year increase in NPI to US$22.6 million.

DPU, however, fell by 4.6% year on year to US$0.0291.

Adjusted DPU, which excludes the effects of top-ups and stipulated damages, increased by 13.4% year on year to US$0.0288.

Annualised 1H2022 DPU stands at US$0.0582, giving UHREIT’s units a forward distribution yield of 9.9%.

UHREIT had just concluded the divestment of two self-storage properties at a 17.7% premium over their purchase price, and also made its third yield-accretive acquisition of Upland Square to boost its portfolio size to US$732.9 million.

Elite Commercial REIT

Elite Commercial REIT owns a portfolio of 155 predominantly freehold buildings across the UK that are primarily occupied by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), the UK’s largest public service department.

Elite’s unit price has declined from £0.67 to a 52-week low of £0.56, a drop of 16.4%.

1H2022 saw revenue rise 17.7% year on year to £18.7 million due to contributions from Elite’s maiden acquisition of 58 properties in March last year.

DPU, however, dipped by 2.7% year on year to £0.0256.

Units of the commercial REIT offer a prospective distribution yield of 9.1%.

All leases for the properties within the portfolio are on a triple-net basis, and the bulk of the properties have a built-in inflation-linked rent uplift clause.

Elite’s borrowing cost remained low at 2.3% with 63% of its debt on fixed rates. The gearing level, however, was fairly high at 41.9%.

Manulife US REIT

Manulife US REIT, or MUST, is a US office REIT that owns a portfolio of 12 freehold office properties across seven US states worth US$2.2 billion as of 31 December 2021.

MUST’s unit price has fallen by 31% from US$0.71 a year ago to a 52-week low of US$0.48.

Gross revenue for 1H2022 rose 10.6% year on year to US$100.4 million while NPI inched up 2.8% year on year to US$57.6 million.

DPU, however, saw a 3.3% year on year decline to US$0.0261.

MUST’s units provide a forward distribution yield of 10.9% based on the annualised DPU of US$0.0522.

The REIT’s gearing stood at 42.4% as of 30 June 2022 with an average interest rate of 2.97%.

Close to 86% of the REIT’s borrowings are on fixed rates, thus acting as a mitigating factor against any potential increase in interest rates.

Around two-thirds of MUST’s portfolio have annual rental escalations of 2.7%, with another 27.8% enjoying periodic escalations.

","source":"lsy1602567310727","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; The gearing level, however, was fairly high at 41.9%.Manulife US REITManulife US REIT, or MUST, is a US office REIT that owns a portfolio of 12 freehold office properties across seven US states worth US$2.2 billion as of 31 December 2021.MUST’s unit price has fallen by 31% from US$0.71 a year ago to a 52-week low of US$0.48.Gross revenue for 1H2022 rose 10.6% year on year to US$100.4 million while NPI inched up 2.8% year on year to US$57.6 million.DPU, however, saw a 3.3% year on year decline to US$0.0261.MUST’s units provide a forward distribution yield of 10.9% based on the annualised DPU of US$0.0522.The REIT’s gearing stood at 42.4% as of 30 June 2022 with an average interest rate of 2.97%.Close to 86% of the REIT’s borrowings are on fixed rates, thus acting as a mitigating factor against any potential increase in interest rates.Around two-thirds of MUST’s portfolio have annual rental escalations of 2.7%, with another 27.8% enjoying periodic escalations.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"MXNU.SI":0.9,"UD1U.SI":0.9,"BTOU.SI":0.9,"ODBU.SI":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2200,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9937552245,"gmtCreate":1663470721588,"gmtModify":1676537275404,"author":{"id":"4098953979648150","authorId":"4098953979648150","name":"SLHengHuat","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/a399e9995416d904f201cf2f32456e74","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098953979648150","idStr":"4098953979648150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"👍 Thanks!","listText":"👍 Thanks!","text":"👍 Thanks!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9937552245","repostId":"1178217025","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3341,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"defaultTab":"following","isTTM":true}
