$BYD COMPANY(01211)$  BYD really tested the limits of how much Singaporeans are willing to pay for a run. 😂 Runs in Singapore are already expensive, but BYD kept pushing the prices even higher. Well… looks like they’ve finally found the threshold. Just like a runner in a marathon, BYD has finally hit the wall. 😂 Singaporeans are basically saying, “Okay lah, this one really too expensive already.” Usually, registration would be closed months before the run. But for the past few months, all I’ve been seeing are small discounts, promo codes, registration extensions… then more extensions. 😂 When even Singapore runners — who are already used to paying crazy prices for races  and everything else— start refusing to sign up, you know you’ve pus

This type of brilliance is beyond my comprehension.

$Netflix(NFLX)$  If The Decoy Plane is the 3rd most watch drama in Singapore, it speaks volumes of the quality of dramas available today.

$NASDAQ(.IXIC)$  Déjà vu?

This is exactly what many already knew. The funny part is knowing something and admitting what it means are two different things on Wall Street. Inflation too high? Everybody knows. Oil and war making it worse? Everybody knows. Labour market resilient? Everybody knows. So the Fed has room to fight inflation instead of rushing to rescue asset prices. And yet: “Yeah, but when cuts?” 😂 My friend, the Fed just HIKE. Not cut. HIKE. The assumption of cheaper money has met an inconvenient reality: inflation remains a problem, the economy can tolerate tighter policy, and the Fed is showing inflation comes first. This doesn't mean “Fed hikes, stocks crash tomorrow.” The point is simpler: the price of money matters. Yields matter. Valuation matters. When safer assets offer meaningful returns, paying

I keep hearing the bull case, and apparently it now requires Kevin Warsh and the Fed to perform a magic trick. Suppose Warsh miraculously doesn’t hike. Fantastic. Pop the champagne, fire up the algos and buy everything because disaster has officially been postponed until the next FOMC meeting. Except the threat of a hike doesn’t disappear. It simply becomes the charming little macro landmine sitting underneath the market for the rest of the year. Every inflation print, jobs number, oil spike and Fed speech becomes another episode of “Will They or Won’t They?” And if the Fed does hike? Congratulations—the bulls get the tightening they insist is already priced in. If the Fed doesn’t hike? Congratulations again—the market gets to spend the next few months wondering when Warsh finally pulls th

Welcome to the K Economy, where half the people toast champagne and the other half toast bread crusts. One side calls it “growth,” the other calls it “survival.”But hey, averages look great: 50% thriving, 50% struggling — which magically equals 100% denial. It’s the only math where inequality is rebranded as balance. So raise a glass: here’s to half-gains, half-pains, and the full-time art of pretending the other half doesn’t exist.
