$Dover(DOV)$ I’ve made an additional investment in Dover Corporation (DOV) following its strategic acquisition of ipp Pump Products GmbH. $VXX 20250801 50.0 CALL$ VXX: collect 2.4% premium on this covered call positions with strike at $50. Contract expires in 2 weeks on 1st Aug. Had accumulated some long positions through assignments from cash secured puts sold on prior weeks. These covered calls will form the 2nd part of the wheel strategy to collect premium and also to cash out should the strike $ were reached. As of now, the volatility in the market is low and in absence of any potential catalytic event that would spike the volatility. Am looking at the 1st Aug when most tariffs pause will end, but then TACO is very real.

$ACHR 20250815 11.0 PUT$ Sold out early on Monday but didn't age well. ACHR dropped 10.84% for the day and totally reversed 2 days of gains and formed and long bearish engulfing candle. Pre market is still trending lower. Strike of $11 is still supported but just barely and ACHR now trades around $11.37 as of writing.

Conclusion: As the title suggests, the market maker isn't greedy. They exited around $3.5, and the stock price has a chance of dropping below $2.
