      The fundamental difference between gold and miners is that gold offers no interest and dividends but miners does, and in addition, miners can do stock buybacks.  Not saying gold won't go up . At current gold prices, miners are still racking it in. USA are still printing paper currency, and their debt are at a all time high. Russia is selling gold , not because gold is worthless but because they need to support their war economy. Same thing with other countries but most countries are increasing their holdings of gold. Both HK and Singapore has build large physical vaults, so that tells you the direction of gold.
