$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ Watching for a potential Iran deal announcement from Trump. Even if it turns out to be just talk, the immediate market reaction tends to be the same. That kind of headline is often enough to give things a short-term push.
Trying to decide between 2 contracts of $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ 1395 calls for this week's play, or selling the news with 300 contracts on $BRC Group Holdings, Inc.(RILY)$ instead. Going bullish on a loose cannon, or bullish on earnings outweighing terrible management. Not an easy call.
$SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ I think this one has a real shot at blowing past 34/share. The backlog of contracts past 2028 and the guidance they gave look pretty solid to me. I wouldn't be surprised to see it hit 2250 again short term.
$SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ Key events this week. Markets are reacting to Trump cancelling US strikes on Iran. July ISM Manufacturing PMI data is out on Monday. June JOLTS Job Openings data on Tuesday. AMD and SpaceX report earnings on Tuesday as well. July ADP Nonfarm Employment Change data on Wednesday. SanDisk reports earnings on Wednesday. The July Jobs Report drops on Friday. Around 20% of S&P 500 companies report earnings this week. Feels like a pretty big week ahead.
$SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ What a ride. Really glad I held onto those shares instead of letting them go when it looked bad. Wasn't easy at all, but at least I can sleep now.
$NEBIUS(NBIS)$ $IREN Ltd(IREN)$ $APPLIED DIGITAL CORP(APLD)$ $Keel Infrastructure Corp(KEEL)$ $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ The heavy selloff is starting to make more sense now. Citadel signaled rate hikes were coming, which pressured the market. That selloff apparently pushed Leopold's fund into an overleveraged position, and he wasn't able to raise enough capital to cover the margin. At that point, Citadel stepped in and picked up the Situational Awareness fund at a massive discount.
