These are the best-performing stocks from the Russell 1000. I am glad to stumble upon new stocks like AppLovin Corp, Natera and Vistra. Let us research before adding them to our portfolio.
The longer the successful track record, the more confidence we can have about the business. Thus, I have also included the best-performing stocks in the last 3 & 5 years.

I am glad to learn that Nvidia and Tesla have a “strong” record over the last 5 years. It is one thing to find a shooting star. It is another to find one with strong, lasting success.
What should be our next move?
The list of the best-performing stocks should be the start and not a conclusion. I recommend researching some of these companies based on our circle of competence. I prefer to research stocks where I possess in-depth market knowledge or experience. Let us qualify them via their financials, competitive advantages and other qualitative aspects. Before I take up any position, I would like to have a good margin of safety (the difference between the stock price and the fair valuation of the stock).
