📈 Profiting from the Peak: How IWM Cash-Secured Puts Earn Me Steady Gains 💵

Over the past few days, I’ve been actively selling cash-secured puts on IWM, and the results have been very rewarding. With the market near recent highs and volatility still giving options decent premium, it’s the perfect environment to collect fat premiums while positioning for possible pullbacks. 🧠💰

From June 4 to June 7, I executed multiple put trades on IWM at various strike prices (204–206), expiring in July. For example:

• On June 4, I sold the 204 PUT (July 11 expiry) for $3.76, and bought it back the next day at $3.60, netting a quick $16 per contract.

• I repeated the strategy on June 5, selling the 205 PUT (July 18 expiry) for $4.37, then closing it just minutes later at $3.60, locking in a tidy $77 profit.

• Most recently, I sold the 205 PUT (July 3 expiry) at $3.20, and bought it back at $2.35 for another solid gain.

• I also flipped the 206 PUT (July 3 expiry)—sold at $2.58, bought back at $2.35, and walked away with $23 profit.

🧾 These fast, controlled trades brought in consistent profits ranging from $15 to over $75 per contract — all without owning the stock.

As of today, June 9, I’m queued to buy back another open contract at $1.28, which, if filled, would secure me over $100 in profit on just one lot. That’s the power of strategic timing and disciplined entries in option selling.

💡 Why This Strategy Works at Market Highs

Selling puts at or near market peaks gives me the upper hand:

• Premiums are rich due to higher option demand and occasional volatility spikes.

• I get paid to wait for possible dips, while still positioning for income.

• Even if assigned, I acquire quality ETFs like IWM at a discount compared to the current price.

This strategy is especially effective when indexes hover near resistance zones — like now — as premiums are inflated but downside follow-through often fades. It’s the perfect time to act like a banker: collect premiums, manage risk, and repeat. 🔁📊
