🍱 How I Earned My Meals This Week Selling VST Cash-Secured Puts

While others chase the market highs and lows, I quietly collect cash like a landlord earning rent. This week, I earned myself a few good meals by simply selling and buying back puts on VST. No fancy indicators—just discipline, timing, and understanding support levels.

First Serving: VST 120 PUT 🍜

On June 12, I sold 1 lot of the VST PUT 120 strike expiring 2025-08-15 for $2.09. When others feared a dip, I leaned into the red and collected a generous premium. As the stock rebounded the next day, I bought it back for $1.78 on June 13.

🧾 Profit: $0.31 per share → $31 per contract

Just like that, my first plate of profits was served—warm and satisfying.

The next dish came fast. I sold the VST PUT 131 strike expiring 2025-06-27 for $0.17 on June 16, just before bedtime. The very next day on June 17, I bought it back at $0.12, locking in quick gains with zero stress.

🧾 Profit: $0.05 per share → $5 per contract

Enough for kopi and kaya toast, with change to spare.

Efficient Use of Capital = More Meals on the Table 💼

While my options were open, I made sure my spare cash wasn’t idle. I parked it in money market funds, compounding pennies into dollars quietly. By using this “waiting time” smartly, my capital was always working—either earning premium or interest.

Total weekly earnings from these two simple trades?

$31 + $5 = $36 USD—money made just by waiting, thinking, and clicking a few buttons. No guessing, no chasing. Just strategy and execution.

Final Thoughts 🍱📈

This is why I love cash-secured puts. They let me buy stocks I like at my own price or earn premium if unassigned, all while funding my lifestyle—one meal at a time.

When done weekly with discipline, these small meals add up to a full course
