$Patriot Battery Metals Inc.(PMT.AU)$ Sharing an idea, sharing a trade. PMT is obviously a lithium miner listed in Australia. Like most other lithium miners,$Albemarle(ALB)$ ,$PILBARA MINERALS LTD(PLS.AU)$  ,$LIONTOWN RESOURCES LTD(LTR.AU)$  or$Lithium Americas Corp.(LAC)$ , all of them have seem substantial gains over the week. Many people may not know PMT, since it is listed in ASX rather than in US exchanges. A quick conversation with @JC888 confirmed my suspicion that many perceived ASX counters to be slow moving and unexciting, unlike the US counterparts.

Obviously, ASX does not have giant hitters like Nvidia or Microsoft, no crazy moving Circle or Palantir, but when it comes to mining, it is home to all sorts of mining firms. Big mining giants like BHP, Rio Tinto and Fortescue to small-ish and speculative firms of all nature.

Many from overseas also called ASX home due to its more generous valuation and appreciative market participants.

PMT is one of them... it basically uprooted itself from the stock exchange in Canada and shifted over to ASX some time ago. Its lithium project there has the potential to be the world's 4th largest hard rock lithium operation! Yup, after the crazy couple of days of rally, its market cap is now close to $800M and that is in Australian dollars! You read it right, it is a smallish as far as market cap is concerned and nothing compared to the US type of valuation. This is why it is so exciting! 4th largest hard rock lithium mine potential at A$700+M! Part of the reason is obviously lithium has been a hated investment for a while... it probably still a dirty word, but I think the fittest survive. PMT, with a super experienced CEO (ex-CEO from current lithium giant, Pilbara), knows its way around.

Besides lithium, armed with past Pilbara experience of the downturns, its CEO has been actively pursuing other resources. In its recent announcements, it has confirmed not just Tantalum as by-products of its lithium mine, but also large scale Cesium deposits! When the mining finally gets underway, cost of mining lithium might possibly be FOC! Maybe... yup, free of charge I meant... especially as the prices of these two other minerals continue to grow in their importance in the new technology applications.

PMT might be overbought in the near term, but its price increment is deserved and long due... it is only the beginning, if you asked me... and it's highly undervalued when lithium prices finally recovered. Recover it will as lithium also grows in importance and applications... think EVs, robots, etc.

Rare metals are all the rage now with $MP Materials Corp.(MP)$ in US right now. Both Tantalum and Cesium, part of the rare earth metals group, would only get more important. $Patriot Battery Metals Inc.(PMT.AU)$ is positioned for big growth ahead… frankly, it is going to be a long ride, but it is worth the wait… @Daily_Discussion , don’t you think so? Thanks for reading and sending through your thoughts. Lithium, as a commodity, is a price taker, however as Li based battery 🔋 grows in importance, so the comeback of price is a matter of time…
