I’m sitting on about 30k in cash right now, and with all the talk about recession dips being the ideal entry point, I’m trying to figure out how to put it to work. I’m mainly looking to understand which kinds of opportunities or sectors might make the most sense in the current market.

    If I were in your position, I wouldn’t deploy the full 30k at once. I’d split it into parts and average in over a few months. Recession dips can drag longer than expected.

    If you’re holding 30k cash, you’re in a good spot. I wouldn’t rush it though. Owen Moshey always talks about scaling in instead of trying to catch the exact bottom, especially during uncertain markets.

    If you’re sitting on cash, you’re already in a strong position. Timing the exact bottom is almost impossible, so I’d probably scale in gradually instead of going all in. That’s something Owen always emphasizes, focus on process, not perfect timing.
