I like this SOFI put trade because it gives me a risk-defined strategy while allowing me to collect premium upfront. I sold one $14 put expiring on 6 November 2026 for $0.04, giving me the opportunity to enter SOFI at an attractive price if the stock falls below the strike. At the same time, the premium reduces my effective entry cost. With SOFI being a company I am comfortable owning, I see this as a disciplined way to either generate income or potentially add shares at a predetermined price. This trade fits my strategy better than chasing the stock higher.
