This may be the most contrarian piece of information you’ll see this year. $Gold - main 2612(GCmain)$$SPDR Gold ETF(GLD)$ looks expensive. Bonds look cheap. Interestingly, both have actually been a losing position this year, with gold down -4% YTD and long-term treasuries down -11%. The difference is one is nearing the end of a prolonged bear market, and the other is just beginning. The most contrarian trade right now would be short gold vs long bonds. But just because something is contrarian doesn’t mean it’s right. The rest of the elements need to fall into place. Coming from a starting point of valuation-extremes like that on display in the chart above certainly sets the scene, stimulates the imagi
1. $S&P 500(.SPX)$ 📈 Indecision plus the gap below led to a quick fill. If price keeps moving higher, the Bollinger Band could provide resistance and trigger another move down to fill the gap at 7,684. A constructive setup bulls want to see completed for healthy continuation. 2. $Costco(COST)$ 🟢 The post-earnings bounce remains constructive, with a potential bull flag developing. 3. $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ ⚠️ Upper Bollinger Band breach + overbought RSI + overbought Money Flow Index = a trifecta pointing toward a pullback. The 20DMA and potentially lower remain in play. Will this time be different? Unlikely. Still, this looks more like a healthy pullb
🐯 Wall Street’s Upgrade & Downgrade Radar: Who Won the Street’s Vote Last Week?
Hey Tigers 🐯 — Wall Street analysts were busy reshuffling their stock picks last week. From $Netflix(NFLX)$ and $Target(TGT)$ receiving fresh bullish calls to $Moderna, Inc.(MRNA)$ and $Exxon Mobil(XOM)$ getting downgraded, the bigger story wasn’t simply “bullish vs. bearish.” Analysts were weighing valuation, improving fundamentals and future catalysts — and in several cases, a good company still got downgraded because its stock had already run too far. Here are some of the notable analyst moves from Sep. 28 to Oct. 2 👇 📅 Monday, Sep. 28: Travel Gets Bullish
Over the five sessions through to 1 October, more than 80 director interests and substantial shareholdings were filed for close to 40 primary-listed stocks. Directors or CEOs reported 22 acquisitions and no disposals, while substantial shareholders recorded 28 acquisitions and five disposals. In addition, the five sessions saw 26 primary-listed companies conduct buybacks with a total consideration of S$47.8 million, led by United Overseas Bank, Keppel and Singapore Telecommunications. 1. $Cortina(C41.SI)$ Cortina Completes S$55 Million Equal Access Buyback On 2 October, Cortina Holdings filed a daily share buyback notice confirming the purchase of 13,246,273 shares under its off-market equal access offer for a total consideration of
Broadcom Is Lending Anthropic Up to $42B: Is AI Starting to Finance Itself?
A new pattern is emerging across the AI infrastructure boom: the companies selling compute are starting to help finance the companies buying it. According to Anthropic’s IPO filing, Broadcom has agreed to provide up to $42 billion in financing to support Anthropic’s AI infrastructure buildout. The financing could cover roughly one-third of Anthropic’s five-year $125.2 billion TPU lease commitment and may include convertible instruments that could eventually become equity. The headline number is huge, but the structure matters even more. Broadcom is already deeply involved in Google’s TPU ecosystem and is expected to help Anthropic access roughly 3.5GW of next-generation TPU capacity starting in 2027. Now Broadcom is also helping Anthropic finance that infrastructure. So the relationship is

🔥 Nvidia Has $235B to Spend — But Can It Buy Growth Too?
$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ just put $235 billion behind its own stock. That sounds like an enormous vote of confidence. On September 28, Nvidia’s board added another $150 billion to its share-repurchase authorization, taking the remaining authorization to $235 billion through fiscal 2028. Nvidia described it as the largest increase to a buyback authorization in history. Then came the market reaction. Nvidia hit an intraday record of $237.88 on Friday before closing at $233.95, up 1.34%. Its market value finished around $5.7 trillion. But here’s the question I keep coming back to: At these prices, is buying back stock the best use of Nvidia’s enormous cash flow? The bull case is straightforward. Buybacks reduce the number of shares outstanding,
The September jobs report delivered a big surprise. US employers added just 29,000 jobs, well below expectations, while unemployment edged up to 4.2%. Previous months were also revised lower, leaving July and August payrolls a combined 60,000 below earlier estimates. Wage growth also slowed, with average hourly earnings up 3.0% over the past year. That quickly changed the rate outlook. Markets now see a much lower probability of an October Fed hike, although a December increase remains possible. Stocks loved it. The Nasdaq hit a record high, while the S&P 500, Dow and QQQ all finished higher. But then something interesting happened. The 10-year Treasury yield initially fell — then reversed sharply and finished around 5.28%, near its highest level in years. That creates an unusu
Nasdaq-100 Hits New Record on Tech Rally, 7x Long DLC Rises 7%; SpaceX Surges 7%
Wall Street rallied on Friday (2 October), as weaker-than-expected jobs data helped to ease concerns over elevated yields. The tech-heavy $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$ surged 1% to a new record high. Amplifying the return, the Nasdaq 7x Long DLC (MFVW) gained about 7%, while the Nasdaq 7x Short DLC (W5BW) sank a similar magnitude. Among DLC-covered underlyings, $SpaceX(SPCX)$ was the top gainer, rising 7.35% following a series of successful launches and renewed interest in its space-based AI opportunities. This lifted the SpaceX 3x Long DLC (WK4W) by close to 22%, while the SpaceX 3x Short DLC (YF1W) sank a similar magnitude. In contrast, memory stocks $Micron Technology(MU)$ a
Tesla Beat Expectations — Now Prove the Comeback Is Real
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ just gave the bulls something they needed: a clear delivery beat. Q3 deliveries came in at 486,532 vehicles, versus 464,391 produced — meaning Tesla delivered 22,141 more cars than it built during the quarter. That is a meaningful inventory drawdown. But here’s the part investors shouldn’t ignore: Tesla did NOT deliver more cars than last year. Q3 deliveries were down 2.1% year over year from 497,099. The bullish case is that Tesla beat Wall Street expectations by roughly 5% and is now showing signs of stabilisation. Reuters reports analysts have also lifted their 2026 delivery forecasts following the stronger quarter. The inventory picture is also improving. Tesla has now delivered more vehicles than it produce

Rate-Hike Bets Collapsed and Long Yields Rose Anyway. Who Is Setting the Long End?
The indices: a weak jobs report, and all three still closed higher All three indices closed higher on Friday: the $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ Composite rose 1.19 per cent to 27,190.86, having reached 27,353.68 at its intraday peak; the $S&P 500(.SPX)$ rose 0.73 per cent to 7,722.72; and the $Dow Jones(.DJI)$ rose 0.49 per cent to 51,176.96. The September employment report came out that morning: non-farm payrolls added 29,000, where the market had looked for somewhere between 85,000 and 90,000, and the unemployment rate went from 4.1 per cent in August to 4.2 per cent, where a flat reading had been expected. The previous tw
Weekly|Q3 Wrap: NASDAQ Defies Gravity, Dow Slumps as September Jobs Disappoint
After a mid-August bounce, stocks largely went sideways in the third quarter, as upward momentum from the artificial intelligence trade waned and rising interest rates weighed on investor sentiment. Last Week's Recap 1. Market Digest: NASDAQ Outperforms, Jobs Miss, Yield Curve Steepens, Fed Hike Odds Plunge Another mixed week — Tech strength lifted NASDAQ to a fractional gain, outperforming other major indexes for a sixth straight week. S&P 500 ended fractionally lower; Dow finished down more than 1%. Yield curve steepens — Some yields briefly touched highest since 2002 before retreating. 2-year Treasury ended flat at 4.84%; longer-duration yields rose, with 10-year at 5.28% and 30-year at 5.63%. Jobs setback — September added just 29,000 jobs (below 80,000-90,000 consensus); prior two

$NVDA 20261120 195.0 PUT$ NVIDIA (NVDA) — Recent Bullish vs. Bearish News Bottom line: The news flow over the past six weeks is distinctly bull-skewed, anchored by an August 27 blowout FY2027 Q2 report and a record $150bn buyback top-up that has pushed the shares to all-time highs. The bear case has not disappeared — it has shifted from "AI capex is peaking" to "can margins and customer financing hold up." The stock is trading at 236.70 USD (+2.53% on 2026-10-02), above its prior resistance of 232.66 USD.
$NFLX 20261023 60.0 PUT$ 1️⃣ Why am I making this trade now? Netflix has been dipping. And would be happy to exchange time for some premium. Would not mind getting some again at 60. Getting in at 60 would present a sigificant discount and great value entry point based on its cyclical bottoms. Just going for the option premium to get some additional crumbs and to lower the cost of other holdings. Previously have gotten some in at 75. 2️⃣ What's my plan from here? If it stays above and expire, then just take the premium and treat it as lowering the average of the other Nflx shares already holding. If it goes below strike, depending on the premium value, then either eat up the shares which i dont mind getting anyways or
$TSLA — Forget the Cars. What If Tesla’s Biggest Business Hasn’t Been Built Yet?
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ is one of those stocks where the debate has moved far beyond quarterly vehicle deliveries. The bigger question is whether Tesla can evolve from an electric-vehicle company into a broader technology and infrastructure platform — with autonomy, robotics and energy potentially becoming much larger parts of the story. 🚗 EVs are still the foundation Tesla remains one of the most recognizable EV brands globally, but the auto business is also where investors can see the biggest challenges: competition, pricing pressure and the need to keep expanding demand. That makes the next phase particularly important. 🤖 The autonomy question If Tesla’s autonomous-driving ambitions translate into a meaningful commercial business, the economi
