In my view, rising fuel and input costs could become a broader concern this earnings season, although the impact will vary across industries. Airlines are particularly vulnerable to fuel price swings, while manufacturers and logistics companies may also face pressure on operating margins if costs remain elevated. I will be watching how companies manage these pressures through pricing power, cost controls, and operational efficiency. Strong revenue growth alone may not be enough if expenses rise faster than sales. For me, sustainable earnings growth and healthy cash flow matter more than simply beating analysts’ expectations. At the same time, I will not assume that Delta’s disappointing results signal weakness across the entire market. I want to see more Q3 reports before drawing conclusi

Charts provide the evidence: The following is a multi-timeframe trend analysis for Tesla. Starting with the daily chart, the effective support level is $339, while the interim resistance level is $417. For long-term holding—viewed through weekly and monthly charts—the price target is around $700. With a current market capitalization of approximately $1.5 trillion, and considering Tesla's business positioning, evolving business model, and competitive advantages, its fair valuation is projected to reach between $2.5 trillion and $3.5 trillion within five years; a stock split (or similar capital restructuring) is likely to occur at least once during this period. Breakthroughs in solid-state, high-density, and high-capacity battery technologies are anticipated in the coming years; if the compa
🎁Weekly EPS Growth & Dividend Leaders: TSM, JPM, ASML, BAC, ABBV and more
😀Hi Tigers, As the Q3 earnings season unfolds, we’re taking a closer look at potential outperformers from two key angles: EPS expectations and dividend performance. In the first part, we highlight the top 20 stocks by market capitalization with stronger EPS estimates ahead of their earnings, scheduled between October 12 and October 16. 🎁Weekly Higher EPS Estimates: TSM, JPM, ASML, BAC, UNH & More 1. Why EPS Matters? Earnings per share(EPS) refer to the income per share brought to investors/shareholders in the open market. EPS is calculated as a company's profit divided by the outstanding shares of its common stock. The resulting number serves as an indicator of a company's profitability. Investors like companies with high profitability, and the market always rewards those earnings resu

Gold Near 4,100: Is This Another Dip-Buying Opportunity? Watch Oil Calendar Spreads💰📉
As the midterm elections approach, there has been a steady flow of signs of easing tensions in Trump’s foreign policy. First came renewed talks with Iran over the strait: although they have produced no result, the situation has not deteriorated further. Then came a Russia–Ukraine “energy ceasefire” over the weekend. Taken together, these developments suggest that Trump does not want any major upheaval before the midterms and is aiming to keep things as stable as possible. The latest U.S. CPI data will be released this week. As long as the reading does not exceed market expectations, the probability of a Fed rate hike at its October meeting is unlikely to rise much. We therefore expect markets to be broadly range-bound this week. Gold Is Back Near 4,100: Another Chance to Buy the Dip? As lo
Chip Stocks Are Falling While AI Demand Still Exceeds Supply. I Would Buy the Bottleneck, Not the Fear.
Last Thursday looked ugly for semiconductors. AMD fell 3.9% to $620.68. Nvidia lost 2.94%, Broadcom dropped 4.35%, while Intel fell 5.34%. AMD then weakened again on Friday, closing around $608. Normally, when stocks fall this hard, I ask whether the fundamental story changed. This time, Lisa Su gave us an unusually useful answer. AMD is planning a substantial increase in supply, yet management still sees demand exceeding what the industry can currently produce. Advanced wafers, HBM, packaging and other parts of the AI supply chain remain constrained. That creates a fascinating divergence: The stocks are pricing fear while the supply chain is still pricing scarcity. For me, that is not automatically a sell signal. It is a signal to become much more selective. Why Did Chips Sell Off Then? T

(Part 2 of 3) S&P500 technical analysis (12Oct2026)
INVESTING PREVIEW (12Oct02026) II. S&P 500 Technical Analysis The S&P 500 reached a record 7,819 on October 6, breaking above its August high after two quiet months. Still, momentum is weaker than it was in July. The RSI, a measure of market strength, has fallen to 55 from 75. The VIX is also low at 14.8, which suggests investors may be too relaxed ahead of Wednesday’s inflation report. I’m watching three levels: 7,800, 7,700 and 7,550–7,575. Holding above 7,800 would support the breakout. A drop below 7,550 on a Friday close could open the way to 7,350. The trend is still up, but I do not want to chase it before the inflation data. Michael Burry warns that investors are in denial. That may be true, but the market is still at record highs and the trend remains positive. I’m taking

OpenAI Earns About $50 Billion A Year. It Has Promised Oracle More Than $300 Billion
$Oracle(ORCL)$ Mathematical Money | October 11, 2026 $ORCL$ fell 5.5% on Wednesday and then took 4.2% of it back on Thursday, finishing the week down about half a percent. If you only looked at Friday's close you'd think nothing happened. Something did happen, and it wasn't really about the number everyone reported. The reaction was pointing at a genuine problem and aiming at the wrong figure entirely. What the news actually said The Financial Times reported that OpenAI told investors its annualised revenue was approaching $50 billion at the end of September, against a $70 billion figure that had been circulating. A $20 billion gap, roughly 30% of the headline. Here's the part that got lost in the reaction. That gap wasn't lost busines
