🚗 Tesla’s October Double Test: Roadster Reveal Oct. 15, Earnings Oct. 21 — Can TSLA Rebound?

A long-awaited product event, chipmaking discussions and an energy milestone put Tesla in focus ahead of its October 21 earnings report. Hey Tigers 🐯 — Tesla is heading into another closely watched product event, but its stock is arriving under pressure. $特斯拉(TSLA)$ closed October 14 at $367.16, down 2.15%, ahead of its delayed Roadster presentation. The stock has fallen 2.82% over five trading days, despite retaining a 2.28% gain over the past month. The broader picture remains challenging, with shares down 7.32% over three months and 18.36% year to date. That puts the Roadster reveal in focus as investors look for concrete progress to support a recovery.Meanwhile, $台积电(TSM)$</
🚗 Tesla’s October Double Test: Roadster Reveal Oct. 15, Earnings Oct. 21 — Can TSLA Rebound?
TOP吉3186: If it were me, I would pay more attention to the financial report on October 21st, rather than buying at high prices based solely on the Roadster launch event. New products can generate market buzz, but what truly determines long-term value are automotive profit margins, cash flow, and the profitability of the energy business. The collaboration between Terafab and TSMC remains uncertain and cannot be considered a guaranteed growth in advance. Even if the prospects for AI and energy storage are promising, it remains to be seen whether actual revenue can keep up with valuations. My strategy is: don't chase the news, don't blindly buy at the bottom, and wait for the financial report to confirm the fundamentals before considering buying in batches. Good companies also need reasonable prices to reduce long-term investment risks.

💰 Anthropic Hits $16.8B in Q3 — Is Frontier AI Finally Becoming a Profitable Business?

Anthropic's revenue growth is starting to look less like a startup story — and more like the early financials of a very large technology company. The Claude maker told prospective IPO investors that Q3 revenue reached $16.8 billion, up 45% from $11.6 billion in Q2. Even more importantly, Anthropic said it was profitable on an adjusted basis during the quarter. That creates a new question for AI investors: Can frontier AI move from massive revenue growth to a genuinely scalable, profitable business model? Until now, most of the AI investment story has focused on how much money companies are spending. Anthropic may be giving investors one of the first serious tests of how much money the model layer can actually make. 📈 The Revenue Curve Is Getting Hard to Ignore Anthropic's reported quarterl
💰 Anthropic Hits $16.8B in Q3 — Is Frontier AI Finally Becoming a Profitable Business?
TOP苏36: B. Sustainable profitability Anthropic's $16.8 billion quarterly revenue is impressive, but revenue alone cannot justify a trillion-dollar valuation. The real test is whether revenue can grow faster than computing costs. Every new customer creates potential income, but also increases inference expenses and infrastructure demands. If costs rise almost as quickly as sales, explosive growth may produce surprisingly little cash. Investors should look beyond adjusted profits and examine free cash flow, computing efficiency, and long-term capital commitments. One profitable quarter is encouraging; consistent profitability through continued expansion would be far more convincing. My view: AI's next winners will not necessarily be the companies with the best models, but those that turn intelligence into durable cash flow.At a potential $2 trillion valuation, Anthropic must prove it can do more than grow fast. @AI_FocusedTrader [你懂的]

TSLA Q3 : from EVs to Robotics, AI & FSD ?

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ enters next week’s quarterly earnings announcement with (a) a delivery beat, (b) a still-expensive valuation, and (c) an unusually high burden of proof on its robotics & autonomy ambitions. The immediate question though is whether: Market will reward the operational resilience shown in Q3. Discount TSLA for slow progress in the businesses that now dominate its valuation. Deliveries beat, Elusive growth. For Q3 2026, TSLA delivered 486,532 vehicles, down by -2.0% YoY, but ahead of Bloomberg’s estimates of 463,761 vehicles and TSLA’s own compiled forecast of 462,000. After the announcement on 02 Oct 2026, shares rose more than +2.0% in premarket trading; proving that the company could still outperform despite the expiration

Why Should Stock Investors Pay Attention to Options? A Look at Apple

Stocks generate returns from the direction of price movements. Options can also help you understand how the market is pricing the potential size and pace of those moves, as well as market sentiment. They can serve as a rear-view mirror for stocks, offer clues about changing expectations, and provide ways to protect a stock position. Stock prices show the path the market has already taken. Options prices offer a view of how much the market is willing to pay for potential volatility over a given period. Options data is no crystal ball, but it can add context that may not be obvious from a price chart alone. What can options data tell stock investors? 1. CPI at 3.7% Just Hit Tech Again. I Would Not Sell QQQ Here, I Would Use the Selloff to Upgrade What I Own.

The market finally got the inflation number it did not want. September CPI rose 3.7% year over year, hotter than expected. QQQ fell 1.97%, the S&P 500 dropped 1.11%, and the damage underneath the indices was considerably worse in some of the highest-beta AI and semiconductor names. The immediate market equation is simple: Hotter CPI → fewer rate cuts → higher bond yields → higher discount rates → lower tech valuations. But I think investors make a mistake if they stop the analysis there. Inflation can compress the price investors are willing to pay for technology. It does not automatically destroy the earnings those companies are producing. That distinction determines whether this is the beginning of something much worse or the creation of another buying opportunity. WHY TECH IS TAKING
CPI at 3.7% Just Hit Tech Again. I Would Not Sell QQQ Here, I Would Use the Selloff to Upgrade What I Own.
TOPquizzio: 3.7% CPI feels more like valuation compression than thesis breakage. With QQQ around 721 premarket, I care more about the names still putting up 30%+ growth while multiples reset.

Nasdaq Drops Nearly 2%, but Defensive Stocks Rally: Is Wall Street Shifting Into Defense Mode?

U.S. stocks showed a striking divergence in the latest trading session. The Nasdaq fell 1.88%, while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index dropped 4.3%, marking its sixth consecutive daily decline. Oracle plunged nearly 9%, CoreWeave lost around 15%, and several AI infrastructure names remained under heavy pressure. Meanwhile, healthcare and consumer staples moved in the opposite direction, gaining approximately 2.4% and 2.1%, respectively, during the session. Traditional defensive names such as Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson attracted renewed interest. On the same day AI stocks were being sold aggressively, companies selling everyday essentials and healthcare products were finding buyers. The interesting question is not simply why technology stocks fell. It is why investors

TOPswq23_興旺發: I pick A $ASML Holding NV(ASML)$ after sell-off. Both beat earnings but fell with market ytd. $MS reported $3.03 vs $2.91 est, trading $5.79B beat by $900M but down 2.8% on hot inflation. $ASML Holding NV(ASML)$ also beat EPS, raised 2026 forecast 3rd time, CEO said AI demand will outstrip equipment supply in 2027/28 and clients ordering for 2029/30, but down 3.9% as SOX down 6 days. Futures Capital Insight: Rare Stock-Bond Outflows; Copper Stocks HHit Records, Diverging from Prices

This week, the dominant cross-asset pricing driver shifted from geopolitical risk premia to a U.S. rates shock. As Middle East supply disruption risks eased at the margin, crude oil retreated sharply from its mid-month high. Meanwhile, the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield jumped 30 basis points to 5.26%, its highest level since June 2007. Oil’s decline did little to ease pressure on long-end yields, suggesting that the latest rate surge was driven mainly by a widening term premium and mounting Treasury supply pressure. With elevated rates and tighter liquidity expectations weighing on markets, equities, industrial metals, and precious metals all came under broad pressure. $黃金主連 2612(GCmain)$
