🌟With challenging energy markets in Australia,  my top pick is $ORIGIN ENERGY LTD(ORG.AU)$ as it is one of Australia's dominant Tier 1 integrated energy companies.  Origin controls about 26% of the domestic electricity and gas retail market.  Analysts view Origin as a favoured defensive haven and income generator.  This is driven by its unique multi pronged business structure.  This hedges its exposure to volatile domestic power markets. Origin's operations are divided into 3 divisions:  Energy Markets - domestic retail & generation.  It serves over 1.8 million customers.  It has a large generation portfolio too. Integrated Gas: Origin has partnered with Australia Pacific LNG exporting LNG globally.

NFLX 6% layoff and Q3 Earnings spell BUY ?

Pre-Earnings Analysis. As $Netflix(NFLX)$ prepares to report its Q3 2026 earnings on Tue, 30 Oct 2026, after the market closes, investors face a critical turning point. Once a high-flying growth darling, NFLX has experienced a difficult 2026. Share prices are down roughly -25% YTD and -42% over the last 12 months, pulling the stock to around $69 - 70 per share (down from higher past levels, though still up +97.6% over a 3 year period). To decide whether NFLX remains a buy before its Q3 2026 earnings report, investors need to examine the (a) company's current business situation, (b) financial strength, and (c) stock valuation. They should also compare the short-term outlook with the long-term prospects using recent company updates and market commen

[Events] 8 Trading Moments — How Many Have You Been Through? 👀

Ever sold a stock right before it took off? Bought the dip, only to watch it keep falling? Or watched a great trade turn into a loss because you held on too long? [Cry] If you've been investing for a while, chances are you've experienced at least a few of these. We've put together 8 trading moments that might feel a little too familiar. Some are frustrating, some are just bad luck, and some are pretty funny when you look back on them.[Cry] Take a look at the comics and see how many you've been through! [Events] 8 Trading Moments — How Many Have You Been Through? 👀
TOPShyon: Honestly, I feel like I've unlocked the ultimate achievement of experiencing all 8 of these painful trading moments firsthand. From watching a stock rocket right after I sold to holding a bag after buying the top, the market always finds a way to humble us. The one that definitely hurt the most is #5: Big gains on paper… but now it’s red. Watching a position sit comfortably at +50% and refusing to lock in profits, only to ride it all the way down into a 10% loss, is a unique kind of emotional damage. Another classic facepalm moment is #7: Picked the winner... but bought too little. I remember nailing the research and picking a massive winner, but only putting in a tiny allocation, watching it surge +100% while my heavy-conviction positions stayed completely flat! @Tiger_comments @TigerClub @TigerStars @TigerEvents

Ada Tan Jia Ying: Prime Margin, Prime Cash, and the Account Rules New Tiger Users Should Know

Speaker: Ada Tan Jia Ying Hey Tigers 🐯! For many new investors, the first instinct after opening a brokerage account is simple: “What should I buy?” But in the latest Tiger First Stripes: Getting Started with Tiger Trade App session, Ada Tan Jia Ying brought the focus back to something more fundamental: Before deciding what to trade, make sure you understand how you are trading. That means knowing which account you are using, whether leverage is involved, how much capital is actually available, and what fees may apply. These may sound like small operational details. But in practice, they can directly shape both risk and transaction cost. 🧾 Three Accounts, Three Different Trading Setups Tiger users may have access to three main account types: 1️⃣ Prime Margin Prime Margin supports leverage.

Speaker: Ada Tan Jia Ying Hey Tigers 🐯! When people first open a brokerage app, they usually think about one thing: Trading. Beyond placing orders, users can also earn rewards, follow market discussions, learn from other investors, and access educational content inside the app. The bigger idea is simple: A brokerage platform can also become part of your investing routine — not just the place where you press Buy or Sell. 🎁 Tiger Points: Turning Activity Into Rewards One of the features Ada introduced was the Tiger Points system. Ada Tan Jia Ying on Tiger AI: What It Can Do, and Why Investors Still Need Their Own Judgment

Speaker: Ada Tan Jia Ying Hey Tigers 🐯! AI is quickly becoming part of the investing workflow. But there is an important difference between using AI to process information and using AI to make decisions for you. During the latest Tiger First Stripes: Getting Started with Tiger Trade App session, Ada Tan Jia Ying introduced Tiger AI and walked through how investors can use it for stock research, market interpretation and earnings analysis. At the same time, she stressed one point that matters more than any individual feature: AI can help investors work faster, but it should not replace independent judgment. That is probably the most important takeaway from this part of the session. 🤖 What Tiger AI Can Help With Tiger AI is designed to help users process investment information more efficient

Ada Tan Jia Ying: From Account Setup to Tiger AI — Building a Better Investing Workflow

Speaker: Ada Tan Jia Ying Hey Tigers 🐯! For new investors, opening a brokerage account can feel like the beginning of investing. But in reality, that is only the beginning of learning how to invest. During the latest Tiger First Stripes: Getting Started with Tiger Trade App session, Ada Tan Jia Ying walked users through everything from account types and app navigation to community features, rewards, and Tiger AI. At first glance, these may look like separate product features. But taken together, they point to one bigger idea: Good investing starts with building a better process. Not trading faster. Not clicking more. And not relying on one tool to make decisions for you. 🧾 Step 1: Understand the Account Before the Trade One of Ada’s first points was also one of the most important. Before t
Ada Tan Jia Ying: From Account Setup to Tiger AI — Building a Better Investing Workflow
TOPShyon: I believe a good investing journey starts with understanding the basics, especially account types, fees, buying power & risk exposure. Having the right tools is useful, but knowing how to use them properly is even more important. I prefer to understand what I am investing in rather than rush into a trade. For me, Community & Tiger AI are valuable tools for discovering ideas & making research more efficient. However, I always believe in doing my own due diligence and verifying information before making a decision. Other investors can offer useful perspectives, but their strategies & risk tolerance may not suit mine. My focus is on consistency, patience & disciplined risk management rather than trading frequently. I see AI as a way to improve my research process, not replace my judgment. Ultimately, the goal is not to make more trades, but to make better decisions & stay committed to a long-term investing plan. $Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$ @TigerStars @TigerClub @Tiger_comments

Nikkei 225: Uptrend Tested After Sharp Pullback — Key Levels to Watch

$Nikkei 225 Index(N225.JP)$ futures fell sharply on 15 October, down about 4% in a single session. Despite the size of the move, the broader uptrend remains intact, and price has landed squarely on a key support zone. Nikkei 225 Daily Chart ①  Daily Chart: Price at Channel and Horizontal Support Nikkei 225 is currently parked at support provided by both the rising channel and horizontal support/resistance around 63,000–64,000. This zone has acted as support on prior pullbacks and now coincides with the lower boundary of the ascending channel that has guided the index higher. Following the recent move down, immediate resistance has shifted lower to around 67,000–67,500 — the zone price was consolidating in before the drop. Despite the sharp

OMG BLINKS! 💖 Today, I want to share my trading experience with IAU, the iShares Gold Trust, and explain why I decided to scalp put options instead of simply buying gold and waiting for the price to rise. My trade involved the IAU $76 put expiring on 13 November 2026. Looking at my transaction history, I sold one contract at $1.30 on 14 October, bought one at $1.26, sold another at $1.30, and bought one back at $0.94 on 15 October. My strategy is to capture the decline in an option’s premium after selling it, provided I can close the position at a lower price. Rather than predicting the exact direction of gold for the next few weeks, I am looking for smaller

JD’s Retail Recovery Is Improving — But Can Margins Catch Up?

JD’s Retail Recovery Is Improving — But Can Margins Catch Up? Hey Tigers 🐯! $$JD.com(JD$$ is heading into 3Q26 with a more complicated setup than the headline numbers suggest. US Tiger Securities expects JD’s core retail business to return to modest growth, supported by improving electronics and home-appliance demand and resilient general merchandise. But at the same time, the firm has cut its price target from $35 to $33 and lowered both 3Q and 4Q earnings estimates, with a much more cautious view on 4Q. That creates the key question for investors: Is JD entering a real earnings recovery — or just an early-stage revenue stabilization? The difference matters. Because right now, sales are improving faster than margins. 1️⃣ What Changed? US Tiger now expects JD to deliver: RMB308.3B in 3Q26
JD’s Retail Recovery Is Improving — But Can Margins Catch Up?
TOP苏36: JD’s biggest opportunity may lie in what the market is overlooking: the gap between a cheap valuation and sustainable earnings growth. At around $26.78, JD trades at just 7.2 times its revised 2027 earnings estimate. Yet a low multiple means little if margins keep deteriorating. The encouraging signs are real. Electronics demand is stabilizing, general merchandise remains resilient, and food-delivery losses are expected to narrow. But rising AI investment and fulfillment costs could absorb much of the operating leverage investors hope to see. My view: JD is a potential turnaround, not yet a confirmed recovery. The critical catalyst is not simply revenue growth, but whether each additional yuan of sales generates more profit. If margins stabilize while new-business losses shrink, today's valuation could prove too pessimistic. If not, JD may remain cheap for a reason. The opportunity is attractive only when improving fundamentals—not low multiples alone—justify the rerating.

📉🐶 Every Plunge Is an Opportunity? My Take on SOXL, TSMC and QQQ 🐶 1️⃣ Every Plunge Is an Opportunity — But Only If Earnings Can Hold Up When I see semiconductor stocks plunge, I don’t automatically assume the AI story is over. Sometimes, the market is simply repricing growth stocks because inflation is hotter than expected, interest rates may stay higher for longer, or investors are becoming nervous about how much money companies are spending on AI. But I always ask myself one important question: Are company earnings deteriorating, or is the market simply becoming more fearful? If earnings expectations remain strong, a sharp price decline can create an opportunity to buy quality companies at a more attractive valuation. However, if earnings forecasts are being cut, a stock can continue fa

The Great Tech Rotation: Comparing SPYG vs SPYV

🌟🌟🌟For the past 2 years, Wall Street behaved like a starstruck teenager.  If an investment did not have "AI" tattooed on its prospectus, fund managers treated it like an old fashioned dial-up modem.  We blindly worshiped at the altar of exponential growth, eagerly pricing tech giants as if they would effortlessly automate the universe instantly.
