Small Caps Improve, but Execution Still Matters My plan for tonight is to watch whether small-cap strength holds and stay selective around earnings. These are watchlist decisions, not orders or fills. After reviewing Tuesday’s close, I’m more interested in the quality of the recovery than in how green the headline indices look. The gap between SPY and its equal-weight counterpart, RSP, is a useful reminder. A stronger headline index can still depend heavily on a narrow group of technology names. I want to see whether that strength spreads to more companies. If participation stays uneven, I need to judge each setup on its own merits instead of treating an index rally as permission to buy whatever has fallen. Small caps gave me something more encouraging to study. IWM recovered its short-ter

Futures Insight: Oil Rallies as Inventories Build, Gold Destocks as Longs Retreat

Long Term Rates Fell This Week, Easing Discount Rate Pressure on Asset Valuations, While Fund Flows and Commodity Performance Remained Divergent. The 10 Year US Treasury Yield Declined to 4.99%, and the 10Y Minus 3M Spread Narrowed to 77 Basis Points as the Short End Remained Firm. Latest ETF Data Show That Overall Inflows Slowed. Equity ETF Inflows Were Broadly Flat, With a Larger Share Going to Overseas Equities, While Bond ETF Inflows Nearly Halved. Meanwhile, Crude Oil and Copper Edged Higher, but Gold Continued to Weaken, Indicating That Lower Rates Have Yet to Produce a Broad Commodity Rally. The Durability of the Price Recovery Will Depend on Regional Inventory Trends in Oil and Copper and the Pace of Long Liquidation in Gold. As of the US market close on October 27, 2026, the weekly

I expect the Fed to hold rates at 3.75%–4.00% tonight. Inflation remains stubborn, but the cooling labor market gives the Fed reasons to wait. I will pay close attention to its guidance on December. If another rate hike is signaled, I would not rush to buy the dip. Higher Treasury yields could pressure high-valuation tech stocks like $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ and $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ . I prefer waiting for price stabilization rather than catching a falling knife. I remain bullish on long-term AI and semiconductor growth, but discipline comes firs

🎁 Write & Win|Earnings Season: Hold or Sell?

Whenever a company is about to report, investors face the same question: Earnings tonight—do you hold or sell? Some investors hold with confidence: “I'm in it for the long term. One night won't change my view.” Some trim their positions: “Lock in some gains and sleep better.” Others keep cash ready: “If it drops, I'll buy more!” One earnings report can send a stock soaring—or falling—overnight. So, what's your move? 🟢 Hold: Stay invested and ride through earnings 🔴 Sell: Trim your position and avoid the volatility 🟡 Wait: Stay on the sidelines and decide after earnings 💬 Not sure what to write? Start here 👇 Pick any angle that speaks to you: ① Share a stock you're holding through earnings Why are you confident enough to hold? What will you be watching in the report? ② Tell us about an unfo

I’d favour Alphabet’s cloud exposure rather than buying Anthropic immediately after the IPO. Anthropic may deliver extraordinary growth, but at a valuation approaching US$1T, the price paid for that growth becomes just as important as the growth itself. Alphabet gives investors several ways to benefit: its Anthropic stake, Google Cloud demand and TPU ecosystem, while still having Search, YouTube and Gemini generating or supporting its broader earnings base. Broadcom may offer greater upside sensitivity to AI infrastructure spending, but that also brings greater concentration risk. The circular-deal issue is what I’d watch most carefully. Huge contractual commitments look impressive, but supplier financing, equity investments and genuine third-party demand are not economically equivalent.

Earnings Beat Machine: 83% of the S&P 500 Beat — Here Are the Winners & the Price Outlook

Hey Tigers! 🐯 We are now past the halfway point of the Q3 earnings season — and the beat machine is running hot. According to LSEG data cited by Chinese media, 83% of S&P 500 companies that have reported so far beat earnings estimates . FactSet puts the EPS beat rate at 83% and the revenue beat rate at 66%, with blended earnings growth accelerating to +29.5% and revenue growth of +12.7%. But here is the twist the headlines miss: beating is no longer enough to move a stock. This season, analysts are already calling it "beat estimates, lose ground": one tracker found 86% of reporters beat, while guidance — not the beat itself — is now the real price driver. So the real question for the rest of this week — with $Microsoft(MSFT)$, <
Earnings Beat Machine: 83% of the S&P 500 Beat — Here Are the Winners & the Price Outlook
TOP苏36: The key takeaway this earnings season is thatthe market is shifting from rewarding growth to demanding sustainable returns. My pick is $SoFi Technologies (SoFi). Its Q3 revenue surged 44% year over year to $1.39 billion, while management raised its 2026 outlook and introduced an ambitious 2027 earnings target. Its expanding fee-based revenue also suggests a more diversified business model. However, strong execution does not automatically mean an attractive valuation. Investors must watch credit quality, loan losses, funding costs, and whether customer growth translates into durable cash flow. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley offer established business models, but SoFi has greater potential for a growth-driven re-rating if execution continues. My conclusion:I favor SoFi for its growth potential, but position sizing matters. The real winner isn't the company that beats estimates—it's the one that keeps exceeding expectations without sacrificing profitability. @TigerPicks [得意]

Mi Material ($MIM.SI) offers exposure to AI infrastructure beyond mainstream chipmakers. Its precision solder spheres are essential interconnect components in advanced packaging, including HBM and high-performance computing. The financial momentum is impressive: 1H2026 revenue surged 109.8% year-on-year, while adjusted EBITDA rose 207.6%. Proprietary alloys, ultra-fine products and lengthy customer qualification processes could provide a competitive moat. However, strong growth does not automatically make a stock cheap. At S$1.80 per share, its estimated S$891 million market capitalisation demands scrutiny. Customer concentration, semiconductor cyclicality and expansion risks remain key concerns. My view: Mi Material has genuine AI supply-chain potential, but execution and valuation will

I think @nerdbull1669 makes the strongest point. AI still has huge long-term potential, but investors are becoming more selective about capex, free cash flow and actual returns. Growth alone is no longer enough to justify any valuation. For me, the Buffett Trade is not about abandoning technology for defensive stocks. It is about balancing growth opportunities with quality businesses that have strong cash flow, solid balance sheets and sustainable competitive advantages. I still believe in AI, but capital discipline matters more than chasing hype. I would change my view if tech companies demonstrate that their massive AI investments can generate sustainable profits and cash flow. Until then, I prefer to stay diversified, remain pati

Fed Decision Tonight: Which ETFs Could Benefit From a Rate Pause?

The Federal Reserve's next interest-rate decision is approaching, and investors are watching closely for clues about where monetary policy goes from here. While markets largely expect the Fed to keep rates unchanged, the bigger question is whether policymakers will signal that further tightening remains on the table. For ETF investors, the outcome could have different implications for growth stocks, long-term Treasury bonds and small-cap companies. Here are three ETFs to watch as the Fed prepares to announce its decision. Why the Fed's Decision Matters At its September meeting, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) raised the federal funds target range by 25 basis points to 3.75%–4.00%, citing elevated inflation. The Fed's October meeting concludes on October 28, with the decision sched
