Pop Mart Falling: New Series On the Way, Bottom or Not?

Pop Mart announced this week that it expects its revenue for the first half of 2025 to increase by no less than 200% year-over-year, and its net profit to grow by no less than 350% year-over-year. However, the stock has continued to decline since the announcement. Tomorrow, Pop Mart is set to release a new Crybaby series called "ShinyShiny." Do you believe other IPs can continue to grow? Is this sharp drop a dip-buying opportunity?

I do not spend on anything for the sake of emotional value. I prefer to spend my money wisely on basic needs and the occasional indulgence. Thus, I am actually not a consumer of popmart and laopu gold though I may give in to my sweet tooth occasionally by eating mixue icecream and the last was last December! I prefer to buy these stocks and earn money[Miser] I think all 3 stocks will continue to rise as their products are affordable so the demand of the masses will continue to push the prices up. They appeal to the desire of people to feel included and trendy as they are now popular. As long as they are part of the social trend, the stock prices will continue to rise. Even if a recession hits, the demand will be there and people will justify their spending simply because they are afforda

Labubu’s World Domination: Can Pop Mart Still Pop Higher?

As Labubu 3.0 ignites global frenzy, is the magic priced in? The tiny yet mischievous Labubu has done it again. On April 25, Pop Mart’s app rocketed to the top of the US App Store’s Shopping category for the first time ever—an extraordinary feat for a Chinese designer toy company still expanding globally. That same evening, its LABUBU 3.0 series sold out instantly across China. The market's reaction? A 12% surge in Pop Mart’s share price, vaulting it to a new all-time high of HK$199. I won’t deny it—seeing a company with roots in Beijing’s toy aisles now command such global attention is exhilarating. But with shares up over 475% in the past year and the valuation nearing nosebleed territory (a trailing P/E of 77.5 and price-to-sales ratio over 18), the question feels inevitable: have we mi

I don’t think pop mart’s bubble will burst any time soon. The love for the dolls are cult-like. It appeals to people of all ages, not just the youth. I’ve colleagues who bought a few and also friends whose mums bought them! The global icons collectively have a massive fanbase and it can be hard to resist being part of the trend. The blind boxes can be addictive. Once you have one and try to get the secret one, it will be a slippery slope down to buying more blind boxes and contributing to the sales profit for popmart. Labubu is the most common but there are other series that others like. As the leading toy maker, as long as popmart can continue to make new toys that capture the masses’ eyes and the trend keeps up, I believe that popmart will maintain its magic. Don’t fight the trend that a

Bubble obviously… waiting to pop… Pop Mart is a concept that will only take off when the economy is doing well. When recession finally arrives to China and US, essential items like food on the table would be the priority. Occasionally, you might reward yourselves with a cup of bubble tea, etc. Will we still go and buy a Labubu? I doubt so. The rise of Pop Mart also symbolises the rise of the culture of excesses and wants. Yes, the founder has turned those toys 🧸 into “collectible art toys”, however unlike for example a Rolex, one could have replicated those toys 🧸 easily. Having said that, the time is not now when the economy is still in its Goldilocks moment. The time will come when all these come crashing down and people will find out that there’s no one left to buy their “beloved” Labub

Pop Mart, Mixue, and Laopu Gold might appear worlds apart—one sells collectible toys, another serves budget-friendly tea drinks, and the third deals in traditional Chinese gold jewelry. But what unites them is their ability to strike the perfect emotional chord with consumers at a price point that feels just right. In a time when consumers are more selective with their spending, these brands offer a satisfying blend of affordability, brand identity, and emotional reward. Pop Mart taps into the joy of surprise and nostalgia, offering affordable luxury through its blind boxes. Mixue delivers daily indulgence at unbeatable prices, democratizing what used to be a premium experience. Meanwhile, Laopu Gold appeals to cultural heritage and investment-minded consumers, turning jewelry into both a

there is a cycle to every  trend or product. When the magnitude of following exploded, everybody chase. When the tide retreats, its when everyone realised that it's time to move on. A dream to own a trending product will never extinct. It's a emotional feeling inside everyone. POP mart is for the future trending. The rise of Pop Mart, Mixue, and Laopu Gold is fascinating — they deliver emotional satisfaction at a low cost, which resonates in today’s cautious spending environment. Whether it’s the thrill of a blind box, the comfort of a cheap milk tea, or the status and security of gold jewelry, each brand offers more than just a product — they sell identity and emotional connection. I’ve noticed my own spending shifting toward items with emotional value. It’s often less about the function and more about how something makes me feel or how it fits into my lifestyle. In tight times, small treats that boost mood or social connection become meaningful — and these brands excel at that. I believe these companies can keep rising if they continue tapping into cultural and emotional trends. As long as they

🐉 HK F4: Bravery or Bagholding in 2025? 🚨 Once the crowd piles in, parabolic charts become fragile. Don’t confuse momentum with invincibility. I’ve seen too many retail rushes turn into rug pulls. 🧠 Personally, I booked partial profits in Lao Pu last week — happy to let the rest ride with a stop. These names are great sentiment plays, but valuations are now stretched. If you’re jumping in now, have an exit plan. 📌 My strategy: Don’t be the last one at the party. Momentum’s fun… until it turns. Rotate gains, trail stops, and don’t overstay the hype cycle.

Much higher risk to chase the rally now and it could be a bubble burst when the interest wanes and economy not doing well.
