$Cipher Mining Inc.(CIFR)$ Cipher is up over 15% after securing Conditional Base Load designations for two major Texas data center projects. It is also joining $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ backed Fluidstack and Anthropic on a $10M West Texas water infrastructure investment, while Barber Lake uses its own water supply.
IBM has a higher PE than GOOGL. Even putting AI aside, the bear case basically treats YouTube, Google Cloud, Android on billions of phones, Waymo, Google Search, and plenty more as if they are worth nothing. Warren Buffett is not an idiot with $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ GOOG. The market is pricing GOOGL like a dead company with no future, worse than IBM.
$Alphabet(GOOGL)$ $Rum Group Inc(RUM)$ locking in sizable compute leases and the broader push toward cloud monetization show AI moving from hype to real balance-sheet execution. $Maase Inc.(MAAS)$ fits that same story, offering enterprise LLM API access through a prepaid model with a $17M cash buffer. Still looks like an undervalued hidden gem.
$ChronoScale Corp(CHRN)$ made official what we all already knew. My guess is most of this gets deployed in $APPLIED DIGITAL CORP(APLD)$ facilities. Both companies look positioned to become leaders in the industry. $APPLIED DIGITAL CORP(APLD)$ is already separating itself based on clients and performance. For $ChronoScale Corp(CHRN)$ , this is really their first deal since the restructuring. There will likely be many more. Too many heavy hitters in that room for there not to be. Question for anyone with a general idea: based on the size and structure of the deal with
$Rum Group Inc(RUM)$ $Microsoft(MSFT)$ The more I go back over this, the more it looks like Microsoft. Azure GPU compute has been strained, to put it mildly, and Microsoft has a history of doing this exact kind of deal with warrants. It fits their style. From my own work as a cloud solutions architect, I can say it is not AWS or Google. That really only leaves Microsoft and Oracle. The federal government would not do this directly, but it does use Azure GCCH heavily. SpaceX/xAI could be a possibility, but this just does not seem like a play that is viable or really needed by them at this point. Final bet: Microsoft.
