Xiaomi to the Moon! 🚀 

I have been hodling Xiaomi in a small way since they announced they launching EV. Did not disappoint!!! DCA via some options and also convert the earnings into more shares. Regret selling the 600 shares. But can't be greedy. It's all probability. So here is my take .... they have a cost efficient and effective moat. They are like the ikea of White Goods or everything that is electronic. Let's see how far they are go. 🍀🍀🍀

Xiaomi’s Q1 2025 financial results showcase a remarkable 47.4% year-over-year revenue growth, totaling 111.3 billion yuan ($15.48 billion), surpassing analyst expectations of 107.6 billion yuan. The company’s adjusted net profit also saw a significant 64.5% increase, reaching 10.7 billion yuan, exceeding the forecasted 8.96 billion yuan.

🚗 Electric Vehicle (EV) Business

• Revenue: Xiaomi’s EV segment generated 18.1 billion yuan in Q1 2025, delivering 75,869 SU7 sedans. 

• Cumulative Deliveries: Since its launch, SU7 deliveries have exceeded 258,000 units, consistently outselling Tesla’s Model 3 in China monthly since December. 

• New Launch: The company introduced its latest electric SUV, the YU7, expected to be priced 60,000–70,000 yuan higher than Tesla’s Model Y, with sales commencing.

📱 Smartphone and IoT Segments

• Smartphone Sales: Xiaomi’s smartphone business remained robust, with global shipments rising by 3% year-over-year to 41.8 million units, maintaining its position as the world’s third-largest smartphone vendor. 

• IoT and Lifestyle Products: The Internet-of-Things and lifestyle products segment achieved record revenue of 32.3 billion yuan, a 59% increase compared to the previous year, driven by strong demand for home appliances, tablets, and wearables.

• Market Valuation: Xiaomi’s market value rebounded to approximately $170 billion, surpassing BYD, China’s leading EV maker.
