For me, the bigger challenge now is not getting too comfortable or taking unnecessary risks just because I am ahead. I want to stay disciplined, protect my gains, and continue following my investment plan rather than chasing short-term moves. There will always be opportunities in the market, so I would rather stay patient and selective. Consistency is still more important to me than trying to squeeze out every last bit of return.
Hopefully I can sustain my current performance through the end of the year and finish 2026 above my original target. Three months is still a long time in the market, so fingers crossed! Haha.

My biggest lesson this year has been that consistency matters more than trying to predict every market move. Instead of chasing whatever is performing well, I’ve been focusing on regular investing, broad diversification and keeping enough cash on the sidelines for my other financial goals.
I’ve also become much more conscious of fees, FX costs and fund structure. Small differences may not seem important today, but over 10–20 years, they can add up.
For the rest of 2026, my goal is simple: keep investing consistently, avoid making emotional decisions when markets become volatile, and continue building a portfolio that I’m comfortable holding for the long term.
There will always be another rally, correction or exciting stock. The harder part is sticking to the plan. 💪📊
With only three months left in 2026, I’ll focus more on protecting my capital and staying disciplined rather than taking extra risks just to hit a target.
For me, long-term consistency is more important than short-term returns.
DRAM ETF has surged an incredible 123% year todate due to its top holdings $Micron Technology(MU)$ SK Hynix & Samsung Electronics reaching stratospheric heights due to AI memory boom.
I have been fortunate to own a slice of DRAM as I recognise the physical reality of the AI bottleneck & positioned my capital accordingly.
My goal in life is FIRE - Financial Independence Retire Early and DRAM aligns with my FIRE philosophy.
As Warren Buffett famously said:
If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.
It's Patience & Time in the market that counts.

My biggest investing lesson in 2026 is that success isn’t simply about chasing the highest return. Markets can shift quickly with interest rates, Treasury yields, inflation expectations and investor sentiment. A strategy that looks easy during a bull market can be much harder to follow when volatility returns.
I’m still working toward my goals, but I’m measuring progress beyond the headline number: investing consistently, building quality positions, managing risk and, most importantly, avoiding emotional decisions.
Three months remain. I may not hit every target I set in January, but if I finish 2026 with better discipline, stronger conviction and a clearer process, that progress can compound into 2027.
The real goal is to become a better investor, not just end the year with a bigger number.
